I find the level of naively and hypocrisy in this thread absolutely laughable. Yes the lad is no angel and as a result he has been pilloried from every direction including some of his own so called supporters.

Torres gouges Vertonghen's face and what is going to be done about it? Absolutely nothing would be my guess but I will await the results of the FA enquiry,if there is one, before passing my final judgement. If Torres is banned for considerably longer than three matches due to violent behaviour then I will feel slightly more comfortable. However,I suspect the FA will actually take no action. So, assuming that being the case, having a nibble on somebody which I admit sends out the wrong message is worthy of a 10 match ban whilst gouging which in my opinion also sends out the wrong message is something you can get away with.

I don't condone some of Luis's behaviour but there are times when I can certainly sympathise with the way he has been treated. Suarez gets an eight match ban for unproven racial abuse. No doubt somebody will remind me that he admitted to calling Evra negrito but it also has to be remembered that Luis did not believe that he was intentionally racially abusing Evra. By comparison John Terry gets a 4 match ban for the proven disgusting racial abuse of Ferdinand.

Good luck Luis on your return to PL football today at Sunderland. YNWA

I agree. I've always thought that any unsportsmanlike like behaviour should be an instant red card. Deliberately cheating, attacking opponents, that kind of thing should be slammed, hard and fast. Cautions, yellows and second yellows should be reserved for genuine efforts to play the game.

The Torres incident has been mentioned in the Torres thread - what happens next will be down to the refs report - if he booked him for the incident then unless the rules have changed there is nothing more that can be done - if he didn't see the incident then the FA can act and he would get an extra three game ban on top of the one already.

perhaps...but I have no respect for him. He's shown his true colours and they're not red.

Please fk off if you have nothing sensible to say. By the sound of things you didn't enjoy the result which I'm fkg delighted about given the endless sh.it you wrote about the Evra incident. You and Betty should get a fkg room.... Supporters my a.rse

We are Liverpool Supporters not Luis Suarez FC supporters. He showed the club zero respect , he showed the fans zero respect. You can forget all about his actions during the summer but others won't.

A start will be apologising to the fans, which he's never done.  Don't get me wrong, it's great to have him back and scoring...but i'm still convinced he's off in the summer.

He may well be off in the summer... but as long as he scores goals for us before he does go and as long as he helped us achieve top 4 and as long as we get good money for him... I got no freakin problem at all...

Kewell mate ffs give it a rest. We all know he may be off in the summer. Let's worry about that when and if the time comes. If Ayre's and Rogers can forgive and forget then I'm certain I can.

that's how i'm hoping it will all play out. Suarez bangs 35 goals and goes for 60 million to Real  :nod
