I think Henry has been very clever here.  The longer that cr@p was going on the lower his sale value got for Madrid - almost to the point of accepting £5m less than arsenal as they're not a rival.  It's speeches like that which send a message out to Madrid that it'll take a huge bid now to get him.

You can certainly see the message he is sending - not sure about some of the things he has said ( the trophies and the Evra situation ) , it's very strong with not too much leeway. I actually want Suarez gone now - dont think keeping him now will be much use to us so hopefully we will get a bid from someone

not neccessarily, whilst it`s probably too late to start negotiating from scratch with any new potential targets i`m sure discussions are at a fairly advanced stage with at least one or two players

I'd rather f*ck him off abroad than put with his cr@p more. It's best for all parties that he's out of the country and we get a decent wad for him
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

in 87 we were in talks with john barnes practically the whole summer and even pulled out of the deal at one point, some deals can take a very long time

Best wrap the deals up soon - 8 days until the season starts

Ignore him Yakka, he's on a wind up.

He's lost the Arsenal are ambitious argument, he's lost the FSG asset stripping argument and he's lost the fact Liverpool FC have a backbone, it's killing him.

So he's moving onto something different.... trying to find something else to be negative/WUM about...

yeah, ideally you`d want any new signings in before the season starts but the window is open until the beginning of september, it`s not the end of the world if they miss the first few weeks of the season, the season doesnt end until next summer and this one isnt over yet, there`s plenty of time for them to make an impact.
