You need balance in any team - Coutinho will turn into a great player but lets not forget he has only had half a season so far - he could have a mare next season and just fade away - got a long way to go yet. Players like Carzorla , Podolski etc and proven themselves at the highest level over a consistent amount of years - Coutinho hasn't

Benny, the main reason Arsenal finish in the top 4 is that they have a very experienced good manager who has been in the position for a long time, I believe this is one of the weakest Arsenal teams for many years and you would put one of our best players as a back up player with them

Correct because one of best players has so far yet to prove himself over a consistent period - not just 6 months. Coutinho is a massively talented player but far from the finished product yet with a long way to go.

Arsenal consistently get results and get into the CL - yet we haven't got near for 4 seasons - the results speak for themselves. Maybe our squad isn't as good as people think - I certainly don't think it's that good and certainly not good enough to challenge for CL spot ( even with Suarez )

Having Wenger does help but they could even afford to lose their top goalscorer and still qualify for the CL.

If we once again finish below them this season ( for the 5/6th season in a row ) will the reality dawn that they are better ?

At the end of the day a team is only as good as the results it gets - that means currently our team is 7th best in the prem.

I believe Monreal is a better left back than Enrique

I believe Podolski provides a cutting edge in terms of power and has proven it both internationally for Germany - one of the best international teams currently playing and has also done it at one of the best club sides in Europe

Wenger does more than help, he is the reason such a mediocre team finishes in the top 4, he knows its getting harder, he knows his team isnt good enough and that's why he's trying to smash their transfer record. Coutinho may only have 6 months experience in the PL but I would take him over Carzorla any day

Yes he knows he needs to improve the team to allow them to keep in the CL - if he doesn't then they will struggle but not because of us - it will because of Spurs.

This time next year if Coutinho carries on developing then yes but Carzorla just has the edge for me - proven himself.
