if fsg sell suarez to arsenal it will be a huge insult to liverpool fans everywhere, fans expect the club to do everything within their power to finish ahead of their rivals not do everything in their power to strengthen them.
in a summer where lfc fans in indonesia and australia have shown how big this club is how ironic would it be for the club to throw that support back in their faces by showing it has zero ambition.

The club haven't done that for a while and have shown their ambition quite clearly in recent seasons

well it`s about time they fvcking started, have fsg any idea how far our `stock` would fall if we sold suarez to arsenal?
with gerrard near retirement and our best player gone to one of our rivals no top player with any sort of ambition would sign for us and the narrative of the media would be that we are finished as a top club, we`d be joining the ranks of the preston`s, wolves`s, huddersfields and leeds`s as once proud clubs who dominated english football but are now footnotes in history.
sell him abroad if we have to but how fvcking sad a sight would it be to see the club that shankly built with his own hands, the club that stood astride european football like a colossus turned into a feeder club for no mark london clubs like arsenal and chelsea.

Unfortunately we are going that way. The crowd at Anfield is dire most weeks and alot of our own "fans" make statements like "they wouldnt blame Suarez if he left"

Its about time the fans show some support towards the club. Maybe that way the players would show some too.

rodgers is on the back of the echo telling arsenal to stump up the cash or shut up.
is he for real? we should be telling arsenal to ***** off not giving them encouragement. rodgers is basically saying give us the right money and he`s yours.

I have to disagree mate ,I think Rodgers has been as diplomatic as is plausible ,and his statements and proclivity for handling the media
has been especially prevalent over the last few days. I suspect Suarez has delivered his ultimatum and Rodgers and Liverpool Football club
will endeavour to squeeze as much money as possible for a player who it seems even playing in front of the Kop cant inspire.

I wave a Liverpool banner mate ,and until arthritis sets in I will continue to do so ,but do you really think Suarez can still play in front of the Kop
after publicly defecating on the most ardent fan base in world football ?

Another thing ,I think Arsenal is the last club that we would sell to ,expect the big players to reveal their respective hands now that
the Gooners have opened up this particular distasteful can of worms....Arsenal fans are gobshites and the extent of their
gobshitedness is only put in the shade by their naivety ....Suarez  will wither and die playing in front of that lot at the Library, even
he's not that thick.

it`s not suarez leaving that bothers me, it`s the selling him to one of our rivals.
if we sell suarez to arsenal it will just be the thin end of the wedge, next summer the likes of chelsea, arsenal, united, city and spurs will be back looking for the likes of coutinho and sturridge and you know why? because they know we are the type of club that sells it`s best players to it`s rivals.
the leadership of this club obviously dont have any pride in the club, they are quite happy for us to be a feeder club to the likes of chelsea and arsenal.
that £50m quid may as well be 30 pieces of silver, thats the price of betraying everything this club is about and stands for.

i agree, sell him to city if you must but not Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal! Ideally abroad. I still think he may stay. 40,000,001.... What a bunch of cheap b@stards! If I was Suarez I would be insulted.

It could be that he is putting a price they will never pay. He can then tell Suarez we tried to move you but no one came up with what you are worth. If he said that he is no way for sale that might have made it worse with Suarez.

They went from 30 to 35 and now 40. I doubt they will pay any more.

I would say we won't sell to Arsenal - we had no problems selling Torres to Chelsea and if Arsenal up the fee and Suarez wants to go then a transfer request will happen and he will leave.

Wouldn't rule him out of going to Arsenal at all. The money men will take the final choice

Unfortunately and ultimately if Suarez pushes for the move Liverpool would probably have to sell him - you can lay the blame at our lack of ambitions all you want but that's just a cheap dig at the owners imo.

As always, when a side is resigned to losing a top player they are usually caught between a rock and a hard place.

well we`ll see but this situation seems to have a certain inevitability about it to me, imo we opened pandora`s box when we sold torres to another english club, that deal shouldnt have happened either, he should have been sold abroad too.
there`s no guts or fight in our management, could you see a firebrand like shankly or even ferguson selling their best player to a direct rival? look at the ridiculous lengths ferguson was willing to go to stop a bit part player like heinze signing for us, never mind one of the best players in the world.
the likes of ferguson and shankly were men that fought against the inevitable and through sheer weight of personality changed the odds in their favour.
at the moment we`ve got too many people in charge who just go with the flow.
those 95,000 fans in melbourne singing ynwa and those 88,000 fans in indonesia deserve a better team than a fvcking feeder club to arsenal.
as i said that £50m may as well be 30 pieces of silver, imo the moment we sell our best player to arsenal the `house that shankly built` will have been betrayed.

Seriously mate ,you honestly expect us to retain a player that belittles this club every time he opens his mouth ? Shankly would have acted
swifter and more potently than Polonium poisoning in booting his disrespectful derrière out of this glorious club.
