Maybe it is - but it's now a page worth of people just talking about me being negative as opposed to the thread subject.

Luis Suarez...   contracted to play for Liverpool FC and long may he continue to do so. If he decides he wants pastures new then all the best to him but he'll never play for a bigger club than LFC - in my opinion. If he stays here and carries on the form of last season he could be part of the team that makes CL again then he can say he's done it the hard way but if he just goes to Real Madrid then he's sold his soul and taken the easy way out.

Stay with us Luis...   make us a force in Europe once again!

it's like a double negative but instead of becoming a positive its just more negative, obey the lacks of physics dammit Benny!!

BTW I could not give a cr@pola about Suarez he's a disloyal delusional thick as pigsh1t scumbag, although he has scored some beautiful goals for us which I will always thank him for. I confidently predict his career will nosedive just like Torres, I cannot imagine him fitting in to the culture at Real Madrid and if he thinks the press is bad here just wait until he bites a darling of the Spanish press, which he will sooner or later.

If we are to sell him, I'd prefer we strike the deal, or maybe know what the deal will be without letting Madrid take him, but not make it public until most of our summer is done.  We don't want people knowing we have all this money to spend to replace Suarez and holding us to ransom.  Even if it seems obvious we are replacing him we will at least have some kind of bargaining power in that sense.  Sturridge's injury could actually have a positive effect there as we have no strikers at the beginning of the season right now, so we clearly need to buy some regardless if Suarez leaves.  Let people think he may be staying so they can't demand an obscene amount of money for their players.

Disloyal delusional thick as pigsh1t scumbag !? Seriously ?

And Torres career nosedived because of his injury - it nosedived into winning the CL , FA Cup and Europa League

if we brought mktharyan(sp?) in and convinced suarez to give us one more year we`d have a hell of an attack next season with coutinho, suarez, mktharyan and sturridge. that would be as good as anything in the division imo (unless chelsea go out and buy ronaldo and rooney that is).
cant see suarez staying though.
over on rawk someone was saying that dortmund have pulled out of the race to sign erikssen, wouldnt mind us going for him especially at that price, with ajax desperate to sell before january we`d get him for around £10m and for someone who`s 21 and highly rated it seems like the epitome of a moneyball signing to me.
imagine having the likes of coutinho, suarez, mktharyan, sturridge and erikssen in our squad?
wouldnt cost the earth either, we could probably cover all our transfer costs by selling the likes of carroll, skrtel, coates, spearing etc

It would be a good attack with mkthryan (sp?) - if we get him we won't be going after Eriksen

We really do need to think about CBs and a strong DM - no point having the great attack if the goals also fly in at the other end

Suarez will leave its unfortunate but he will.

Sturridge at the moment are really the only good thing about our attack at the moment. I agree with Benny that we wont go after both Eriksen and Mkhitaryan so we should just go for Eriksen younger cheaper and better. We would still need someone for our wide attack someone in the Jesus Navas. I know we have been linked with Alexis Sanchez in the past if we could bring him and Eriksen with the suarez money and some change then that would be great.

We would then have

Sturridge
Coutinho
Sanchez
Eriksen

We would be fanatstic going forward.

i dont think we`ll sign a DM, i think rodgers has allen or lucas pencilled in for that role.
in terms of CB`s i think we`ll bring papadopolous in which will give us agger, papadopolous and toure as our frontline CB`s for next year (with the likes of kelly and wisdom as cover incase of an injury crisis). infact it wouldnt even surprise me if that lloyd jones got a run out in a couple of cup games next season, the staff at melwood seem to rate him highly.

Mkhitaryan is better than Eriksen and has done it in the CL against the top guys. He maybe more expensive but he will be worth it in the long run. He can provide us what Gerrard used to - goals from the centre of the park.

If Suarez does leave then we would need a striker in - Sturridge it seems won't play to at least the start of Oct due to his injury.

We need one anyway even if Suarez stays - a young one with bags of potential - it's a shame I don't think Texeria will be ready.

I would be delighted if we got Papadopolous - hopefully we won't be needing to play Toure - would prefer to see both Kelly and Wisdom used before him

We really need attacking players right now.

I know we wouldn't sign HM and Eriksen, but if we did sign HM as an attacking player to help take over for Suarez, we could still go after Eriksen for the AM position, really to take over for Gerrard tho.  We need Coutinho in the middle, and preferably a defensive player.

It won't happen but I'd be thrilled if it did

We also need strong defensive players more at the moment

Get Henrik sorted then a CB and then a strong ball winner like Wanyama for the middle.

That would really move us forward.

Then if Suarez does leave add in a striker , possibly Remy or Negredo and also another creator in the middle.
