It's called being the bigger man and walking away instead of retaliating
If a player initializes and breaks the rules of the sport by pinching his opponent then the nature of many is to naturally retaliate against something so spiteful like that. You cannot change one's nature and you cannot condone double standards by implying he should walk away because it's not you or your personal space that has been invaded with spite.
I'm sorry but that's a croc of Sh*t - you're allowing people the right to retaliate because its in their "nature" ! If Suarez can't control himself in situations where a CB is trying to wind him up then he is going to get plenty of red cards.
It takes a better person to not react and walk away - ffs cb's all over the game spend 90 mins winding up a striker either physically or using insults - it's up to the strikers to not react.
That's not double standards because both players should act correctly within the rules. If Suarez reacts then he is just as bad as the CB

It is easy to say walk away and it's easy to do if you have self control - something Suarez needs to learn

He plays a game where people will look to wind him up to get a reaction - a reaction that will get him sent off and banned.
It's not behind "self righteous" - its called being sensible and reacting correctly in the situation.
If it was Rooney throwing a punch at Suarez after Suarez wound him up - the attitude would be a lot different.
And yes it is easy to walk away - it takes a bigger man to not react to someone winding them up

When Luis scored a hat trick not long ago there were very few comments in this thread. However when he has a bit of trouble it goes on for pages. Is it any wonder that the forum is struggling given the shight written by some of these utterly depressing fkrs.

Maybe people don't fancy posting an opinion just in case you disagree with them and then subject them to a load of abuse.
As for being "depressing fkrs" - I think you would do well to remember your attitude towards people trying to be positive last season in regards both Kenny and Carroll - you were quite happy to jump on the negative depressive bus then
As for Suarez - he is a wonderfully talented player who has been truly amazing for us and has been supported through thick and thin by the fans (BUT NOT BY BENNY THE NOON) and the club and we have reaped the rewards. It would be nice if the little incidents on the pitch dont happen to allow us to continue to get the best out of Suarez instead of him sitting in the stands. That is all - not really a depressing point of view is it. Just an observation.
