So you want him to own up to something he didnt do and have the goal disallowed for an accidental hand ball?
What next, every player stopping the game when the ball hits their hand so they can run up to the ref to tell him what happened?

Funny as fu'ck you mate

You are clearly as thick as dog excrement, so it's no wonder that you are unable to grasp the simple concept of sportsmanship. Something you and Luis Suarez have in common. Both thick as two short planks and both unworthy of any amount of respect.

So do you think RedNose has trained his team to demonstrate sportsmanship over the past 20 years whilst winning umpteen titles? While I commend your attitude, there are winners out there and winners will win at all costs. As much as you might dislike that notion, it is a fact of sport.

I don't care what other clubs and players are doing, I want this club to be a club that respects the game of football and respects the opposition. I don't want us to cheat our way through the game. I don't want to see our players winning matches by cheating or any other illegitimate means. What would Shankly make of Suarez? I reckon he would kick his backside out of Anfield. It's not the done thing at Liverpool. I once read a passage that Emlyn Hughes had arranged to fix a match with Arsenal and Ian Callaghan had discovered this and apparently never spoke to Hughes again during their time together at Anfield. Apparently Callaghan never told Shankly as Shankly would have been heartbroken. That man never cheated his away out of anything and never cheated anybody, it's his spirit that embodies this club and it's an insult to his memory and service here that we need to beat a non-league team through illegitimate means. I'd rather lose a match than see one of our players gain an unfair advantage by cheating. I remember when Jan Kromkamp took a dive, I went ballistic, I don't like seeing it in football and I don't want our players to cheat their way to victory.

bro, fixing a match and hand balling are 2 worlds apart. fixing a match means a life ban from football and hand balling just means a cautious.
i think thompson invented the term "professional foul" - in which an opposition player foul another to stop them from scoring... is that consider cheating in your book? if it is, then you are not suitable for this beautiful game.
how about a player injuring another fellow player on purpose? injuring a fan? roy keane rings a bell. cantona rings a bell?
are these offenses worse than a handball?

Where do you get this sh.ite from Boxscarf? Just show me any evidence that justifies this cr.ap you are now spouting about one of the finest players in Liverpool's history. If I was a member of Emlyn Hughes's family I would have you up in court for libel.

After their playing careers ended I have been in the same room and witnessed the two of them talking in a very friendly manner and you have to ask why I think you are a fkg idiot !!!

This is an extract from Wiki which is a vastly different summary of the matter: Bribery AllegationIn 2008, Tommy Smith claimed in his autobiography, that on 8 May 1972, Hughes told him that he had been speaking to a number of Arsenal players, and they had said that they were "willing to throw a match for £50 a man" in a vital match at Highbury which decided the title. Liverpool failed to win and the title went to Derby County. Smith wrote that he was disgusted with what Hughes said and never spoke to him again after this. Smith maintained that the only witness was Ian Callaghan. However, Smith also stated that he wasn't sure if Hughes was suggesting that they should bribe the Arsenal players, was wanting him to bribe the Arsenal players, or told him this so he would be incriminated. Smith said he never told Shankly because it would have "Broken his heart".

Emlyn and Tommy were far from best mates and it is a great shame that Smith decided to put this incident, if indeed it ever existed, in his autobiography after Emlyn had died.A very cheap way to sell a few extra books in my opinion! Tommy Smith is not a particularly wealthy man and his actions I would suggest were possibly motivated my money and jealousy. This is a guy by the way who wouldn't have lasted five minutes in the modern game. His defensive style was crude to say the least and yes Tommy was a winner and do what was necessary to win a game and sometimes it was not pretty but we never called him a cheat. I wonder what the press would make of it today?

It's not a surprise that the Fa, the referees and most of the footballing world hates Suarez if one of our "fans" talks about the man in this way

I'm about to go Chris Crocker on boxscarf

According to you I am a wind up merchant, therefore I am a troll in Internet speak and that usually warrants a suspension of an account. So, yet you're another cretin who likes throwing meaningless insults around for no particular reason.

No wonder Juventus supporters abused you, you probably were acting as cretinous around them as you do on this forum.

I'm not insulting you....you are just removing the facade that you hide behind....clearly you misunderstood my referrence to Heysel

I see you have resorted to many insults to various others on the forum.....
