Most non-Liverpool fans believe he handled it on purpose, they like the fact he's a villain and that Liverpool have to "cheat" to win. 82% said "no" because most people reading that were Liverpool fans. Non-Liverpool fans refuse to actually give an article a chance that says Suarez isn't a cheat.
Looking at the replays and pictures, a few things are absolutely necessary to point out:
-He was running forward, so the notion that his hand was out of place is far off. Imagine if we all ran with our hands at our sides, not moving or raising above our heads at all. We'd move half as fast and look like a bunch of f*cking penguins.
-He very clearly tried to pull his hand away instantly
-He was extremely close to the keeper when the ball has ricocheted off him, if he could react that fast then he's the most natural athlete in the world.
-The final key point I have to make is probably the most important. Look at any photo of the incident. They like using photos because photos always make you look guilty, but in the photo of when the ball hits his hand, HIS EYES ARE CLOSED. You're telling me that, with closed eyes he throws his hand at the ball, knocks it down perfectly at his feet, and taps it in? I don't think so, but if he did his is literally the most naturally coordinated person to ever walk the earth.
What really gets me is all these people that try to analyze it. They say things like it's against Mansfield, and he should have not done it because he should have thought about the fact it's not a big game and Liverpool would have probably won anyway. So they are not only claiming that he did it on purpose with his spiderman-like reflexes, but he also has time to think through all the repercussions of what he's doing in the tenth of the second from when the ball has bounced up at his hand.
These people are f*cking morons, but the people who believe these f*cking morons are even worse.
DESPITE THE FACT I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA...
