If I was Mancini I would transfer list both Nasri and Balotelli in January, as well as Gareth Barry and Jack Rodwell.

I still can't believe we lost to Aston f*cking Villa. Chelsea absolutely destroyed them, while considering the fact that Guzan or what's his name (Villa's goalie) was Villa's best player today.

What is also worrying is Torres' form. It is looking more and more likely that Rafa might be the cure for his bad form.

I tried not to pay too much attention to the Chelsea result. I was enjoying far too much Swansea back to the walls desperate defending to deny 3 points for Utd, love that sort of stuff.
Nice to see SAF go off on one of his deflection OTT rants about the Williams RVP incident as well

I think the fact that the Chavs battered AV and we conceded 3 to them at home is indeed significant...

And of course he won't get bollocked by the FA for his comments like other managers would. :glare:

His rant about Van Persie could've been killed was fecking hilarious and he's either opened the Christmas booze a couple of days early or he's cracking up cause as a deflecting exercise is was laughable.

Ashley Williams should take legal action for defamation of character, im sure the Arsenal supporters club would pay the legal costs

Is that before or after Luis Suarez takes action against Ashley Williams for defamation of character?

David Luiz looks like a completely different player under Benitez.

How anyone can say Benitez is a bad manager is beyond me, for me Benitez is one of the best managers in Europe.

i see the mighty Villa got another trouncing, this one was at home to the even mightier Wigan, that's three trouncings in a row after they beat us 3-1 at Anfield. Stoke also conceded 3 yesterday at home to Southampton and only got their equaliser in the 90th min

The fact we were well beaten by both Aston Villa and Stoke should really open the eyes of every Liverpool supporter who was buying into this 'we'll get top four this season' nonsense that many were spouting. This current team is a mid-table team and our points tally and position in the league backs this up. I actually think that we're playing worse football as the season progresses. In the first two months of the season, I felt we were very unfortunate in many of our matches. We should have beaten Stoke at home, we should have beaten Man City, we should have beaten United at home etc, that's when we were playing good football, the players confidence seems to have taken a battering over the last month and I don't think we're playing as good football in December that we were playing in late September.
