Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

I haven't comented on this diving subject really as its not as if its a new phenonemon, its been around since football started so its not going to stop overnight, I remember Keegan was pretty good at iot as well, this article puts it in perspective, diving might give you a dodgy reputation and gain some dodgy decisions but its not going to threaten to end someones career like Huth's stamp which seems to be accepted and seen in some areas as justified against diving.

Van Persie's elbow or Tiote's stamp along with Huth's received no media attention whatsoever.

Suarez is a master craftsman of carving out chances, but he wears banana boots and misses loads of chances, as uf he has no radar for goal.

just had one of those days when nothing really went right for him.

can't fault his effort though. bloke must be knackered having travelled 14,000 miles during the week.

I thought Suarez was wasteful yesterday ,but when this profligacy in front of goal is drowned out with sublime moments of breathtaking ability then its
worth enduring the lean periods, because mark my words when all these countless impudent shots and chips start nestling in the back of the net then Luis
Suarez will be the name dominating the headlines for the right reasons .

Thought Luis's brilliant assist for Raheem Sterling's first goal went right for him! Yes he could have scored a few but his contribution was still immense.Keep it up Luis and forget the bandwagon whinging critics and that's not a dig at you St Michael!

the thing is he is a great play.......but its not working, he should be getting over 25 goals a year in just the prem.
but the main problem is that we have no other goal getting apart from SG to to help him.
if the team start banning in goals all over the place you tend to see their top striker step up the pace.

yes he could do more but he not the only one.

but he is getting the ball where he likes it and is still missing, in the last game he should have got two goals but missed, he also had the ball put right where he likes it but he was not there.

he needs to be in the spot when the ball is coming in. any great team knows that the key to getting goals is the the person putting the ball in knows that the striker will be there....this dont happen with him right now.

it would be very easy to make a case of getting shot of him but i hope that with just a small change in his game we could see him putting the ball in the net again and again.

Never forget that by and large referees are not very bright, but are very spiteful.
With this in mind, if we keep being sarcastic do you really think they will start doing their job properly?

Suarez is a frustrating player, he seldom passes in the box and he is so wasteful it beggers belief, it really does. I couldn't be a team-mate of his that's for sure, we wouldn't get on, I'd be calling him every name under the sun.
