Nobody can expect referees not to make mistakes, they are human after all. And besides its what makes games exciting and keeps us talking after the game. I believe that goal line technology will come because it must. When teams are losing millions because of a blatant goal which has been disallowed the clubs will demand it and it will come. However, I do not agree with camera replays for penalties and free kicks. What I want is a fair decision based on what a referee and his assistants see. Were not getting that at the moment. What we are getting, so we're told by ex players and reporters, is that referees are refusing to even contemplate giving Suarez because he has a 'reputation'. This is totally unfair and cannot be impartial. How can he recieve a fair decision if a ref already has a bias against him because of a previous action?
Its a Fu*king disgrace and why the media and LFC havent made an issue of this is beyond belief. Dont talk about fair play and respect if those  who are meant to uphold the laws of the game are cheating

id hate to see the game stopped every 5mins while some tool watches a replay but i agree on the hawkeye.it has to happen and in ireland the G.A.A is going to try it next season so i expect it will be the norm once its proved reliable and the bugs ironed out.
what i do believe in is that a referee should not be allowed to make a major decision without consulting a video referee.he should only be consulted for a penalty that wasnt clear cut or before he sends a player off.it is human error that they make mistakes but when we see pens being handed out like the one valencia got it doesnt seem fair.
either that or a system where the managers get one chance per game to challenge the referee's decision.again only for a game changing call he's made.
its silly really that there isnt something in place already for this because replays are available almost immediately after the said incident and it would take no longer than it takes for a ref to have a word with someone or step out 10 paces for a free kick.
in this day and age its a bit ridiculous that we are relying on someones interpretation of the rules when it could be easilly avoided.

I thought creases were ironed out?
:eyebrow

only if she's doing it right
hawkeye hasnt been tested yet and when the G.A.A do test it, it will be a beta version and when the bugs gets ironed out we will have a working stable version.
but you already knew that :;):

On days luis isnt playing he should be wrapped in bubble paper (3 foot thick) placed under lock and key in a padded room and Joe cole should be made to taste his food before he eats it.

I can see how (sometimes) Luis Suarez doesn't get what he deserves in terms of free-kicks and penalties. 2 minutes after coming on last night I thought he had been seriously injured as he rolled about following a challenge. The replays showed there wasn't a connection and he faked the dive.

I love Luis and he is a world class player that we have to look after and keep fit if we are to get anywhere this season. But...I can see how some people make the comments about how he doesn't help himself sometimes.

Then the fella has the audacity to whinge and whine and strut around the pitch with a "the world is against me" attitude.

great player, but i hate the guy's attitude and it's no secret that he's a diver.  Does it every match and he needs to grow the f**k up.

If he carries on then I think Rodgers should seriously consider selling this lad. I thought Balotelli was petulant and stupid, but Suarez at the moment is outdoing him by a country mile.

It's pretty obvious that as a person Suarez has questionable morals.  He had this reputation before we signed him and he's built on it since, dragging the club's name through the mud at the same time.

On the other hand he's a brilliant footballer.  I dislike him to be honest and when he does eventually move on I'll have no problem saying thank you and goodbye, but at the moment we could do with holding onto him, as along with Gerrard he's our only world class player.  In fact, so patchy has Gerrard's form been the past 18 months you could say he's our only world class player.

When Rodgers eventually gets the players in that he wants and gets us playing how he wants it'll be interesting to see whether he wants to keep Suarez to be honest.  My bet is though that it won't come to that.  We'll finish mid table this season and Suarez will be off to pastures new in the summer, somewhere like PSG perhaps.

Yes, he's one of the most skillful players in the PL but also one of the most childish and a cheat. He's been receiving a lot of sticks from other PL managers (Pulis being the latest) and fans because he is too good for their players and they fear him to death. So Luis, please let your football do all the talking and we'll always love you.

Yeah but a natural extension of his mentality is weakness. If he doesn't feel loved I fear he'll move on - which is clearly the position every manager and newspaper is trying to push him towards. We need to get a top class striker in asap to take the pressure off him.

I didn't see the match yesterday but I heared the commentary and read a bit on the forums, then I just saw the clip of the Suarez incident on the news.

Luis obviously dived but was it an attempt to get a penalty as Pullis and the press are suggesting or was it simply an act of frustration as he thought "what's the f'ing point of continuing ?" because he he'd been kicked so many times ?

He seemed to get kicked a couple of seconds before the dive, was this just yet another unpunished foul against him that prompted the dive ?

Luis is a fantastic player and in my opinion hasn't got over the Evra incident. Terry gets a four match ban for using insulting language that was considerably worse than Luis yet Luis gets an eight match ban for winding up a very annoying whinging individual. Luis understandably thinks that the world is against him. Is it the chicken or the egg? Luis gets blatantly pushed over in the penalty area and gets nothing. Johnson brushes his hand against Valencia's back and it's a penalty. Is it any wonder players dive when so many important refereeing decisions are questionable? Ask Ashley Young the same question! Luis needs our support so don't jump on the let's castigate Suarez bandwagon. You're supposed to be Liverpool supporters ffs. Leave the whinging to fkrs like Moyes,Ferguson and that ***** Pulis who has the ordacity to have ago at Luis for diving but ignores the fact that Huth the thug actually stamped on Luis's chest early in the game. It's laughable the cra.p some of these fkrs are coming out with and some of you are actually agreeing with them.Michael Owen was quite handy at going down in the box for little or no reason. Did we have a go at Michael - did we fk !!!!!

Luis don't let the basterds grind you down. YNWA

I suppose it is inevitable that you would stick the boot in! Carroll plays like an absolute c.unt for the majority of the time we had him and you tried endlessly to convince us that you were right and everybody else was wrong about Andy. In the second half of last season Carroll scored two Premiership goals. One in an easy 3-0 win against an awful Wolves and one against a relegating fighting Blackburn. Carroll's performances deserved criticism. Luis's performances deserve our support.
