He's looked just about OK this evening I think. Rodgers' wingers didn't put a lot of crosses in at Swansea, but if he can get his confidence up and run directly at full backs it might work out.

I've been saying that he could still be a player for us.  I know it was only one game and, based on what you guys have said he wasn't that good, but if he's hitting the target with shots like that then we could at least expect a few goals out of him next season.

Where has Stewart been hiding that type of striking ability outside the box?

Maybe that goal against Gomel was just a freak occurrence that happens once a season.

Or a first game he plays in occurrence.  He rocked the crossbar with a belter against sunderland in his first game for us at the beginning of last season, if I'm not mistaken.
