I'm guessing the air ambulance and 6 doctors on standby are just out of shot.

It is nice of us to get him fit in time for Serie A to start. Fiorentina is my guess this year

This picture clearly shows that his 7 assists and 2 goals were pure luck and a massive coincidence

This will be a hug season for Aquilani, as one way or another he has to knuckle down somewhere and try to rebuild his career. Nobody appears to want him in Italy.

Its not the talent thats lacking, its the mentality...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

It's neither, he's a crock who can't play more than 2 games without injury.

Over the last 2 seasons Aquilani (59) has made more appearances than Gerrard (49) and Agger (54), and only 5 less than Glen Johnson (64).

In Italy...over here he sturggled with the pysical side of the game and looked scared to tackle, let alone defend the ball.

One heavy challenge and he was balling his eyes out

And thats your expert opinion is it, i don't remember him getting enough time on the pitch to decide whether he could take the chanlenges of the 'physical' english game. I think you are living in the past talking about how hard the english game is

Regardless, some might say he's another square peg when we have a round hole.

I haven't spent time with the lad obviously but my gut instinct says he's not right so ship him out. We need to make a number of tough decisions in the next 12 months so we may as well get started. Y'know these high salaried players are going to need paying off as well as a reduced return/lower sale value which combined over 5-6-7 players is going to impact our bottom line again this season. Its a necessary evil to get back on an even keel commercially but should help folks realise why we haven't got big bucks to splash around and I guess is a contributory factor in the ever delayed new stadium saga.

Anyway, lets move on. And him.

i like him as a player, and i think he can play a big role in what i believe rodgers envisions for us. i also think he's more prepared to 'get stuck in' than most on here give him credit for. the main problem for me is that his eyes are too close together and for that reason alone we should get rid.
