Seems Roma want £70-80m to part with Allison. Got be honest, wasn't particularly impressed by him in our 2 games v Roma and for that kind of money I'd be leaning towards Oblak who has a clause in his contract for around the same amount.

Oblak or Alisson, doesn't matter. The price went up 10mil after the CL final. Oblak will have a release clause as it's a La Liga rule so if that makes him cheaper go for him.

If we can get Allison for £50m-£60m then we should get him. If they ask for more then go for Oblak.

In any event, one of those two is a must. Wouldn't want Butland or the like. We should go for the best, like we did with van Dijk.

Club has messed about enough with GK, fom the initial freezing out of Reina whilst on £100k+ a week replaced by Mignolet on fraction of that, and subsequent penny pinching on Karius freezing out Mignolet.

I think anything beyond £50m is a hell of a fee from a goalie but we have placed ourselves in a position where Ward, Mignolet and Karius could all leave this summer meaning we could need 3 keepers, probably at least 2.

This is the summer for FSG to show they're serious. A midfield of Keita, Fekir and Fabinho would be a massive upgrade.

Still very early days and it's us so there's every potential none of this will materialise - well obviously Keita will.

Fabihno is a done deal with the sounds of things .. massive signing and we've stole him straight under the noses of the mancs aswell.

Wow- in the modern era of the web and social media -this is unheard of. A player deal not being mentioned till its about done! Its like the good old days when a deal was usually done on the quiet :grinning:

Looks like Milner and Hendo will be on the bench/rotated at best (or moved on?) which is great news given what our bench has looked like recently.
