Rumour of the day - For the miserable tw@ts amongst you

Liverpool Football Club - The Rumour Mill

Looks like Boston has closed the shop no business this month.

Club will not give an inch unless every single box ticked on recruitment, microscopic analysis.

Bit restrictive for my taste, sometimes you have to take a punt or follow a hunch in the pursuit of success.

One thing about Coutinho was that he used to score a crackers here and there.

Tempted to say Suarez was a better free kick taker than Stevie?

We should never sell our best players again no matter what the price .. because that money will never get reinvested back into the team.

Apparently Spurs showed Lucas Moura around their training ground today, looks like he is on the verge of signing for them.
If Arsenal manage to get that Aubemeyang deal over the line we are really going to have our hands full trying to finish in the top 4.
We might need to start preparing ourselves mentally for the condescending 'we need to cut our cloth accordingly' and 'the top players are only interested in signing for CL clubs' talk that we are bound to be hit with in the summer.

We have got good value in January before with Suarez, Couts and Sturridge so why is it that we cannot find players anymore. Fair enough we got burnt with Carroll who was a pure panic buy but that isn't reason to not even bother to try considering how much they have made off the others acquired in the winter window. Plenty will say Balotelli was a panic buy but he wasn't. He was on a list of players Rodgers was given.
Maybe that is why Jurgen is so slow to replace players because he doesn't want any of the shyte off their latest list or lists because they flit from one target to another every year. Sticking with clowns like Moreno and Mingolet is a joke. Having Ings and Solanke as your main strikers behind our non striker is even funnier considering we were talking about challenging for a title this year.

FSG won't want to bring Keita here in January, he is their marque signing of the summer, they won't want to spend that kind of money on him now and then be under pressure to spend more in the summer. If they spent 70 or 80 mill now that would be 150m spent in January and come the summer expectations would be for them to spend 100m more I don't think that is something FSG will do. They will wait until the closed season, buy Keita and spend another say 30m and it would seem like a big investment and they would have less pressure from fans.

Looks like Roma have rejected a bid from us for Alisson but it doesn't say anywhere how much that was for.
They have named a asking price of £44m! What's the hold up? That is the minimum price to get a class keeper these days. You go cheap you end up with another Mignolet or Karius.

Infact ive got a good idea lets pay £70m plus Mignolet and Karius.. actually pay extra to take them 2 off of us so I never have to see them flapping around in our nets again!!

A keeper will help but Mingolet wasn't at fault for any of the 3 goals that stood yesterday. We need a creative AM to replace Coutinho.

Apparently the odds of Mahrez joining Arsenal this window have been cut from 5-1 to 7/2, they are now the favourites to sign him.

I agree that is what we should do first.
