I'd take Enrique, looks a quality left back, something we've been lacking for a while now.He's out of contract in the summer as well so surely we wouldnt have to pay much for him, if indeed anything

I would definitely sell Cole for 5 million pounds. The thing is, he's not good enough for us anymore, but he would do well at newcastle. I don't think it would bite their hand off at all, I think he could be quite an asset for them.

I would love Enrique. I've watched him quite a bit with my brother and I know my brother would be devastated if he were to leave, but he's a young quality left back.

Couple interesting facts about Enrique that I don't know why I know

His one goal for Newcastle is against us a couple years ago, a header off a corner kick. We won the game 5-1.

He was born on the exact same day as his team mate Steven Taylor, January 23, 1986. I found that little fact out by accident, my brother didn't even know.

The 21-year-old Denmark international has received rave reviews for his performances in the Bundesliga this season, which begs the question why the club are looking to offload such an exciting prospect.

The news has alerted the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, with the latter rumoured in the German media to have had a bid turned down in the January window.

Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has made defensive additions a priority for the summer recruitment process as he looks to bring more options with world-class pedigree to Anfield.

New Liverpool owners NESV have shown their financial commitment with a view to returning the Merseyside club to its former glories, and Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli has been instructed to scout and recommend the brightest young talent from around Europe.

With 15 international caps already to his name including one World Cup tournament under his belt, Kjaer certainly looks to have the pedigree outlined by Anfield chiefs which makes it increasingly likely that Liverpool will renew their interest in the £10million rated player in the summer.

They will also be hoping that Kjaer's international teammate Daniel Agger will prove to be a decisive factor in convincing the player to move to Anfield.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has publicly declared an interest in the Danish stopper, with defensive reinforcements also a priority as the club look to bring more new faces to White Hart Lane.

Tottenham return to European action at the San Siro this evening in their last-16 first leg clash with AC Milan and have few defensive options to choose from with long-term absentees Ledley King and Younes Kaboul unavailable for selection.

Having conceded 12 goals in three Champions League road trips this season, how Tottenham could do with a player of Simon Kjaer's ability which was showcased in the recent international friendly at Wembley when England defeated Denmark 2-1 last week.

As for Enrique i wouldt mind him but only if we could get Coentrao, Cissokho or Santon i.e a younger better player

The Argentine international forward has been earning rave reviews for his performances with Napoli in Serie 'A', and Kenny Dalglish is thought to be interested in bringing the player to Liverpool.

Lavezzi gave the Merseysiders a glimpse of his talents in a Europa League clash at Anfield earlier this season, shining in the first half before Steven Gerrard came off the bench to rescue Liverpool with a hat-trick.

A product of the Boca youth system, the player made his name in south America before signing at the Stadio San Paolo for €6 million back in 2007. Lavezzi had previously signed for Genoa, but did not make an appearance during his first spell in Italy.

Whilst not the most prolific if strikers, the player is renowned for his passing and technical ability, and could play as a second striker or playmaker behind two forwards.

Despite spending big in the position in January, it's thought that Dalglish is keen on strengthening his strikeforce further at Liverpool in the summer.

Footylatest claim that Damien Comolli, director of football strategy at Anfield, will hope to bring Lavezzi to the club in the summer after recent results showed the front-line was lacking at Liverpool when injuries hit.

It's thought that the player would cost in the region of €23 million, although Liverpool would look to negotiate a lesser fee for the player nicknamed 'El Pocho'.

Not my first choice but i thinkwith him Suarez and Miereles behind Carroll we would play some breathtakig football and wed have a goal threat coming from all angles. Have Sterling Pacheco and Suso as backup aswell.

Kjaer woud be a great signing.. especially if he only cost 10 million pounds. Doesn't get much more of a steal then that. I don't know so much about Lavezzi. Would be a good player, but would cost a lot and we already have 2 really talented strikers. Players don't want to move in a huge big-money signing to be the back up. Unless KK is planning on a 4-3-3 or something then I don't know we need another 20 mil + striker.

Simon Kjaer would be a World Class signing. Sick of Spurs always being linked with the same players as us and the headlines seem to be more and more like "Spurs may have competition from :censored:

Just shows how much weve fallen over the last 2 years.

I think it more shows how ridiculous spurs have become. They are linked with every fecking player because they will actually buy every fecking player they can. spurs will splash a sh!te load of cash on any player they can get their hands on.

they all say that type of b*llox mate, not the first time we hear it from players then you see them move in the transfer window.

We haven't officially signed Marveoux or whatever yet, but he is not going to playing at the same club next season. It seems like we are signing him but I don't know for sure.

Ya everybody always says they want to fill out their contract unless they are handing in a transfer request. Hopefully Erikson is the same and we can snatch him up.

I'd still like him. I imagine we will look into it, but if a deal isn't struck right away then we will probably move on. Make them come to us at that point.
