Ox is a legitimate top PL player and if we can get him so yes let's do...This window has been a total catastrophe so far really a poor reflection of Klopps and the rest of Technical managers performance.

A legitimate top pl player ?

Seriously mate , he's a pl player and that''s it.

This gotta be the worst window ever . God forbids if any of the forward 3 gets injured especially Mane :help. Its been ridiculous that van dijk and keita
are the only 2 top players we bid and its funny how kloop said before the transfer window opened that all the targets are identified and just waiting final formalities.

Agreed.

He was more of a donkey than an "Ox" yesterday. Hopefully Klopp has shelved any plan to sign him.

Liverpool have submitted a €72m + €8m bonuses bid for AS Monaco's Thomas Lemar, according to L'Équipe
“You cannot transfer the heart and soul of Liverpool Football Club, although I am sure there are many clubs who would like to buy it.”

Lemar would cushion the Coutinho blow a bit. What we need is a centre midfielder and if Coutinho wasn't happy to drop into the midfield then we were onto a problem anyway. VVD, Lemar and a centre mid, then kick Coutinho out of the club

Betting suspended on Couts to Barca...

Guillem Balague‏ is adamant that Coutinho is going nowhere. Apparently LFC has refused all meetings with Barca...https://twitter.com/GuillemBalague?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

Sky sports are now reporting that we have made a £55.5m bid for Lemar. I thought it was all talk but I think we might actually be signing someone argggggghhhhh.

I thought Lemar was more of a wide player? He's got good dribbling and is quick so I'm all for this signing.

Whatever happens we need to keep Coutinho. When that silly deadline that Barca set last weekend passed Coutinho was trying to repair bridges the following day so all this talk of him going on strike etc is baloney.
If we sign Lamar (who can play CM) + a CB and keep Coutinho we will have a decent tilt at the title imo, we may even go close in the CL.
The draw was about as kind as you get in the CL and if we top our group we should avoid the big hitters in the first knock out round.
IMO there's only really Paris and Madrid who are clearly better than us anyway and to be fair once this club gets a head of steam up in Europe we often punch above our weight. No one, Paris and Madrid included, will be wanting to come to Anfield to face our flags and banners (not to mention Coutinho, Mane, Salah, Firmino, Lallana etc) in the later stages of that competition that's for sure.
Under Rafa Anfield was crazy on big European nights and that was when we played pragmatic stuff, imagine it when we are playing Kloppball.

I'm not confident. I'll find it hard to cheer the guy on myself. His bridges have been burned whether he stays or not

So the Lemar offer has now been confirmed by all the journalists linked to the club. Sounds like tomorrow could be an interesting day......

Interesting move for lemar. Pretty much a guarantee of coutinho leaving if we sin him. Not a bad replacement. We still need cover for lallana and enforcements for the back4 and one dominant CM. Follow up the Lemar signing with VVD and a top CM (Fabinho from Monaco as well would be perfect) and we can move on to improving the GK, LB and eventually striker over the next 2 windows.

Keita is a Liverpool player, he's agreed to join us next summer. He's had his medical and the deal is signed. He's been pictured in Liverpool training kit holding up the number 8 shirt.
Well done FSG
This is not a wind up, it's 100% legit.

Apparently we paid his €48m buy out clause plus 'a premium' that hasn't been disclosed.
