All major outlets saying that Farcelona have given up on Coutinho so it's very unlikely Yakka.

Reports this morning say the Catalan C*nts  are back with a 4th offer for Coutinho, apparently it's a £138 million , £101 million up front (not sure if it's a lump sum or instalments) and the rest in more ***** add ons'.

If Coutinho has started his back tracking then I can't see a revised offer being accepted.

Barca have well and truly took the ***** here - them and Madrid are an absolute nightmare to deal with and it's about time someone stuck it to them like PSG have with Neymar.

I think after tonight's game we will see a push and new signings,if we qualify...If not...Guess we won't see anyone significant arriving.

One of the terms being, if Coutinho wins the Eurovision song contest, or even less likely, wins the Ballon D'Or....i think the former is marginally more likely, tbh...

Saints have signed Hoedt CB from Lazio. So does that mean Van Dijk is giving way?

We have to get in at least one midfielder and a centre half before the window shuts. Lovren is a liability and our midfield is the same player x 3

Yup. They're also after Rose, wouldnt surprise me if they pay Kyle Walker money to get him. Mourinho went in and did what we should be doing, addressing different problem areas in their squad over a number of transfer windows. Their second 11 now features the likes of Smalling, Shaw, Herrera, Mata, Martial, and Ibrahimovic. You could argue they'd all be key players for most title challenging sides in the league.

Maureen will use his squad wisely i can see him playing Ibrahimovic for cup games or as a sub.

Was just thinking when we face them we will struggle bigtime in aerial challenges. They've got quite a few big guys in there team.
The way Hoff and many other teams whip in a cross and score is something Maureen will definitely know is our weakness.

Sky are saying Barca have agreed a fee of up to £110 mil for Dembele.  :eyebrow  Hopefully they abandon Coutinho now.

Apparently half in cash now and the other half on the second coming of the messiah...

They will try and get Coutinho at the last minute like they did Mascherano.
They will probably try and do it by getting Phil to do an interview where he slags off the city, the weather, the food, the people, the club...you name it. It's the oldest trick in the book and no matter what he says the club should just ignore it and stand firm.
When you have a top player signed to a five year deal (with no buyout clause) you shouldn't be getting bounced into making hasty decisions by dirty tactics. Only mugs would fall for that old one anyway.
The more Phil says in the interview the bigger the mess he has to clean up when the window closes and he finds himself still here.

Mauriniho has done what klopp should've done. We've missed it again. We'll never learn.

Little over 7 days to go.

Time is running out. All we need is a few signings to make this an epic season.
