Just watched a few videos on Thorgan Hazard and he does look the real deal as you stated, 6 million may be a steal

Out of all of these, only Hazard's bro would be worth the risk. As for the likes of Kalou, I hope they're just rumors.

Lucas to Inter looks like it's going to happen. I'm not sure if that's very smart, but for 10 million maybe we should let him go.

Lucas has just posted the following on his official twitter page, not sure if this is good or bad tbh  :;):

Lucas Leiva: "I've never had contacts with Inter. I have a contract with Liverpool and I'm happy there" #LFC

Yep. When Chelsea first purchased Eden, one of the coaches from Lille or some other club mentioned something about how Thorgen is the better player. I really hope we get him. Would be the steal of the century. And he's really young so shouldn't have any issues adapting to a new style of play under BR.

And he's just been crowned Belgium's Player of the Year. Everton are keen on him as well unfortunately. Hopefully we move quick on this one.

Well we will need the squad depth for next season and Lucas is a good squad player. Plus, he's a major contributor to our team spirit, which IMO is a very powerful thing for us, though some might find this laughable. On the other hand, we'll never receive a bigger offer than this for him, and 10 million isn't little money. I really don't know what would be best for us.

Anyway, how about this?

I'd rather sell him and get whatever we can to be honest.

Forget it mate, it's not going to happen, Mourinho won't sell players to us.

I think it's the right move to let his contract run down. Keep him but don't make the mistake of tying him down in case we have better options in the following transfer windows. Otherwise we might be stuck with a 32 or 33 year old player on the bench with a huge salary the seasons after that.

At this moment we have Enrique, Flanagan, Johnson and that's about it really. Kelly just hasn't got it and I'm unsure about Wisdom, Robinson, McLaughlin and Smith. Nevertheless, we need better than that to compete in the ECL.

I would really like to see Debuchy and Nagatomo join us.

Liverpool are preparing a sensational £40million DOUBLE swoop for Southampton stars Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren.

The Anfield giants' manager Brendan Rodgers wants to make the Saints an offer they can't refuse for the duo... and a massive statement of intent for next season, when the five-times winners return to the Champions League/European Cup.

Midfielder Lallana already looks Kop-bound, after indicating the Reds are the only club he's interested in joining despite offers from Manchester United and Tottenham.

And - as we reported back in March - Reds manager Rodgers is determined to make it a St Mary's double, by offering the same amount for centre-back Lovren, who was one of the Premier League hits of the season in his debut campaign.

Croatia international Lovren only arrived last summer from Lyon for a fee of around £8m. But has proven beyond doubt he can cope with the physical demands of English football, and is the defensive leader Liverpool have been desperately searching for.

Rodgers will have close on £50m to spend - plus anything he raises by selling off fringe players - and wants to make an impact with three top-class, big-money signings.

The Saints' pair will be the central focus of his transfer policy this summer, but he also wants a left back and a top-class forward - and he has already identified two main targets in those positions.

Rodgers is a massive admirer of Bayern Munich forward Xherdan Shaqiri and is confident of a cut-price deal for the Swiss international, who has found starts hard to come by at the Allianz Arena.

The talented attacker is versatile to play all along the front line, but has been unable to force his way into Bayern's regular starting XI since a £10m move from Switzerland's Basel 18 months ago.

Liverpool feel they will be able to tempt the 22-year-old to England for a similar fee.

Doing so will mean there is money left over to pursue a left-back, with Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand top of the list.

Why not get Schneiderlin while we're at it? Offer them 45m for the trio :D

Tony Barrett (The Times) says we've lined up a move for Xherdan Shaqiri because an 'impasse' has developed over Southampton's £25m valuation of Lallana.

Here we go again, happens every time, one of these days we might actually be able to complete a deal without pi$$ing off the selling club.

Why should we let Southampton take the p1ss out of us just cos he's English, £25m is too much

yeah let's keep agreeing to a higher price to appease the selling club.

Either a player is worth your valuation or he isn't. If the club hit a valuation cap, we shouldn't be overpaying just to sign a player.

We have started our transfer process as early as possible this year. If the Lallana deal doesn't work out we have plenty of time to make another happen.
