Andy carroll to LFC in Jan £14 million , babel going the other way £4 million .

Scott Dann has become a main stay and would represent a very good deal at £8m. Versatile yet solid defender and chips in with the odd goal.

He may represent better value for money given the prices quoted for the likes of Cahill and Shawcross.

my mate went same school and told me he was going to birmingham before he went so lets wait and see.
He is of a decent age and whenever i have seen him as looked steady enough.

8m for him is a bit steep, but I do think he is a solid player

Andy Caroll would be a fantastic signing! 14m? expensive, but he is still 21.

Compared to the money being quoted for Cahill (£15M) and Shawcross (£20M :oh:

) £8M for Dann is a good deal.

He is an England U21 and has become a regular for Brum in the EPL. We could do worse than sign his central defensive partner (Johnson) as well.

Yeh agreed about that, I think he is a solid defender, better than Skrtel no doubt.

Would be made up if we got Carroll he is a monster of a player, couldn't see it myself until they got rid of their manager, but you never know. Wickham would be a decent second choice, but Carroll is a bit further on in his development, and less of a risk (on the pitch at least). Dann would also represent a sensible signing given that Carra and the Greek can't go on for ever, and Agger can't play a full season. Also a former LFC season ticket holder if wikipedia is to be believed. I'd be pretty happy if we had 2 out of the 3 at the end of January.

I think it's more likely that he's named the child Leo after Leonard Scuttlethwaite who plays Sunday league for Grimethorpe Miners Welfare Club. :glare:
