Sylvain Marveaux on this link, Rennes left winger. Much speculation but worth a nosey in case we do make a move at some point:-

Yep, we dont need him, although i do rate him as a player, we have enough central midfielders

Good player, proven in the EPL and someone I think who has the potential to have an impact at a bigger club than Fulham.

However...we have an abunadance of midfielders who can play the role he can so the £10m would be better spent elsewhere in the sqaud!!

Clint Dempsey doesn't really fit with the new LFC transfer policy of up and coming youngsters + the odd proven world class player ???

Heard a rumour that Scott Dann is a virtual done deal but we might have to wait until the summer.
8 million fee agreed and we are trying to push the deal through in Jan but Mcleish is trying to hold on to him until the end of the season.
No source, just what i have heard.

Scott Dann has become a main stay of a pretty solid bak 4 at Brum and would represent a pretty good buy at £8m. Versatile yet solid defender and chips in with the odd goal.

He may represent better value for money given the prices quoted for the likes of Cahill and Shawcross.

my mate went same school and told me he was going to birmingham before he went so lets wait and see.
He is of a decent age and whenever i have seen him as looked steady enough.

Sounds good.

If we got him then we would have 3 cracking youngsters at the back with Wilson, Kelly and Dann.

Linked with Ronaldinho today! That would be a coup. Still got enough talent to do some wonderful things here. A loan till end of Season would be the best on that one

Welcome addition to the squad with, as you say, a loan deal probably best for us and him at this present point. Wages would be high but with no transfer fee then why not.

I would be astonished if we shelled out the wages and more to the point that this character would fancy getting buffeted about the park the Premiership. My money would be on Ronaldhino taking the easy option with a move over the States. No doubting he can still do magic tricks with the ball but in terms of commitment and putting a shift in forget about it and we can well do without that. I can see Konchesky screaming at him now as he deals with two whilst Ronaldhino is gazing into the stands and asking the ref how longs left  :)

Luis Suarez for £9m according to BBC website. Heard all the hype about the guy and watched a bit of him in the World Cup but not sure £9m would secure his services in January. You never know though.

One thing I do know though is that "if" he joined LFC he would be given a stern talking too by Carra, Gerrard and Co as apparently the guy is a bit of a rocket both on and off the pitch!!!

He does represent the kind of player NESV have said we would go for though so fingers crossed :)

Ronaldinho - great ability but too lazy and too old. Never really liked him TBH.
