its implausible ,sorry damn near impossible to give him the benefit of the doubt . He disagrees with everyone ,and any
shard of hope or light you wish to bestow upon this forum is extinguished with the efficiency of a candle snuffer.

Its not like the lad hasn't had more than enough warning to hold off on broadcasting his opinions ,at least just enough to to
let the conversation evolve into a debate, at least one that isn't so polarised by his twisted perspective on all things pertaining
to this football club we all hold so dear.

I have never, in all my time here had any member on ignore ,but over the last few months his incessant gripes have become
galling to say the least...... I'm sorry if that resolution doesn't fit into your appraisal of how we should all behave ,but then
life sometimes isn't pleasant and difficult choices have to be made to ensure the overall atmosphere of the forum in general.

Benny has been a disruptive influence for far too long ,this forum used to thrive on debate ,it was the sole reason I joined
in the first place ,but now that the reds have started to slowly rise and people can see the improvements being made his
slating of this club has just got worse than its ever been.

I'm pretty sure Redcafe  are devoid of their most ardent follower since he joined this forum ,there can be no other plausible
explanation for his continuing degenerative undermining of all who dare to be upbeat .

Kinell the lunatics have taken over the asylum !!

What the fk is going on. I have no time for BTN and his constant whinging and negativity, however on this occasion I think you are wrong. I have said the same about Gerrard for some time and it doesn't come as any surprise that two people could write something similar. The observation isn't one of great enlightenment when all said and done.

Thanks for your well constructed and thought out reply, i cannot honestly sit here and deny anything that you have to say is not true, you are correct

We are all here to debate and banter about the club we all love, i guess he just does it in a different way to how we do it

I said my piece and that was all, i dont want to be alienated by everyone else so will leave it be, i just hope we can perhaps all give him a final chance to fit in a little better

Anyway, onwards and upwards, been a great summer imo and we sit top of the league  :buttrock

Lets all (me included) get back too talking about footy and players and not another forum member.

( unless of course you've heard a rumour that a forum member is transferring elsewhere  :D )

Khedira on #MUFC bid "The club turned down the offer and that was it, we didn’t really have the chance to discuss it."

Shit did I really write that. I can't even use the excuse that I'm pissed !!!

RBG - you took me to task for having ago at our resident whinge some time ago. You actually referred to him as my nemesis !!  You went as far as to tar me with the same fkg brush for constantly having a go at Mr Negativity  which I certainly didn't appreciate. All I tried to do was get him to fk off somewhere else. Several months have gone by and numerous quality posters have left siting BTN as the reason.

Cardiff Red -  You want to give him one final chance........he's had about ten of those already  :grinning:

Sorry Woof I wasn't ignoring you. I was typing my response as you posted your very apt suggestion that we get back on track.

You do know 'Arse licker was a joke on my part ? As far as our little fall out is concerned I've resigned that to the past ,I certainly had
no reservations about you wanting rid of our resident prophet of doom..... I've had fallouts and slating matches with many members on this
forum ,but I certainly don't hold grudges.

 ... even caught red-handed, you still deny it... why am I not surprised?
two people having the same thought is possible... but It's so obvious that you just paraphrased that guy's post

Toby Alderweireld claims to have snubbed an approach from Liverpool before securing a switch to Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old completed a switch to Spain on transfer deadline day, with Atletico piecing together a package which enticed Ajax into a sale.

Liverpool had also been in the running to secure the Belgium international's signature, but saw their efforts knocked back.

The Reds ended up landing Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori from Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting Lisbon, respectively, but Alderweireld claims the Anfield outfit looked at him before sealing late deals on Monday.

He told the Spanish press following his arrival at Atletico: "The club have been following me now for two or three weeks, and you could see they really wanted me.

"That is why I turned down approaches from other teams. Liverpool, for example, appeared in the last few days, but I had already taken my decision.

"The truth is that Atletico made a huge effort to convince me."

If that's true, then it's an interesting slant on the whole transfer world cos we were linked with him early on (along with loads of others). Does this mean that when something comes out in the press that we're interested, we're merely floating ideas around to see if anyone on the receiving end reciprocates? This would imply that not even an enquiry was made until the last days of the transfer window which from our point of view I find hard to believe. Perhaps more of an indication of the way clubs handle enquiries into their players, which is to keep people in the dark until the enquiry becomes serious else you'd have everyone unsettled and a dodgy pre-season? This would also explain why things are leaked to the press and people are 'questionably' tapped up as well. If not, I would question our methods, which is something I have been reluctant to do all window as you need to put your faith in the club and the people.

Does anyone on here have any connection/experience of the transfer market via working at a club at any level?

I reckon the key statement here is "The truth is that Atletico made a huge effort to convince me." I don't know if Aryes has it in him to convince anyone.

I'm sure those 8 signings had guns to to their heads and tears streaming down their cheeks...
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Think it very plausible indeed that Ayre hasn't a club when it comes to player purchases. At one point Billy Hogan did the negotiating as well - think its a mess and think BR made it very clear how disappointed he was when Willian didn't sign
