According to rumors around Liverpool this morning the club are preparing a press conference for Wednesday to announce some major developments behind the scenes. Century radio surmised that the general feeling is that Rafa Benitez will leave or has left the club. They went as far as talking about replacements for the manager & even spoke about a reported meeting with the Spaniard last night trying to cement already damaged walls. Phil Neal was quoted as saying that "things havent been right for a while & I know that some of the youth players were told before the champions league final that changes were happening".
A couple of fans have phoned in saying that it is more likely some players will be signed but the majority seemed convinced that it was the end for the manager.

It is a rumour isn't it? ----> Rumour mill.

It doesn't make sense the owners talking about having a plan a few days back and then to read this rumour.

What a load of everton.

There maybe a press conference for the simple reason that the new stadium plans are being revealed to the council and then the press.

Some stations do ave em.........................

I havn't heard Rafa has left or will leave, I have heard that the sh!t will hit the fan this week. I presumed he meant that Rafa would demand to know exactly what his budget was etc, but that was my interpretation not what I was told.

If there is a press conference it could be just to show off the new stadium design, its being given to the council for approval today.

Yeah I remember someone posting up the stadium plans were supposed to be released around the 18 th.

I remember Snelly used to call up people on the radio and wind them up somethoing rotten 'I crashed into your car and I've got no insurance' 'you need planning permission for that fish pond' etc.. I think the 'Rafa has resigned spoof' is along the same lines but not as funny as the one that reckoned Everton will win the premier league by 2050.
