I can see why Rafa would be interested, he's an experienced title winner, he'd be a perfect back up for Torres and he would make a great teacher for our younger strikers, especially for Babel and N'gog.
Hope this rumor is true though and not just some windup.

He has a number of serious reoccurring injuries. In his last season with Arsenal he was carrying injuries to 4 separate parts of his body. He didn’t take a full medical when signing for Barcelona beacuase there was no way in hell he would have passed it.
We will probably have to pay over 10mil for him and I don’t know how often he could actually start for us considering his problems.

Henry was a great great player... but he's 31 now and almost as prone to injuries as Owen is... I'd rather buy Owen as he's still 28. On top of that Henry was a marquee player for arsenal I don't know how he'll turn out playing for us, his motivation and such. Owen will be rejuvenated if he gets the chance to play for us again, just like Fowler was. It'll be a new lease of life for him. And yes Rafa has straight away rejected that we'll be going for Owen and I just don't know why...

i hope it's true, henry is wat reds need keep up in front. but i think he's not worth paying 10mil

This particular rumour persistently raises its head whenever we approach a transfer window.. Wishful thinking methinks.
A question to consider....
Would you rather have Henry for 10 million or Owen for 3?

And Henry is 31. Their age doesn't solve the money question however.

, they are both great strikers and both of equal caliber . Owen was immense when he played for us and so was henry when he played for arsenal . Owen has always scored wherever he has played , be in madrid or newcastle , he's a top striker . Henry is the one of the best this league has ever seen . Both owen and henry are good , maybe henry better than owen by a little but to say they are not in the same league is absurd .
