The only rumour I have been hearing isn't transfer but the fact that Rafa has lost the dressing room and there are players who are unwilling to play for him now

Assuming that is true is there any coming back from that? Surley the only way from here is out for Rafa. Im guessing this is residual Alonso sour grapes. Understandable of course.

I think its time Rafa got a good map or a guide dog, he has lost the dressing room that many times........

its also a bit strange that so many players would sign contract extensions AFTER Rafa got his, if they were unhappy with the manager

I hope it isn't true I'm just saying what I have heard in the Bootle pubs where I drink,There is a fella who comes in the pub who use to work at melwood and he said it isn't as much Xabi leaving it is the way that Gary Ablett and co from the Academy got booted out that has left a bitter taste in the mouths of people and also Jamie Carragher was meant to be fuming over it.

Like I say I'm just relaying what the talk has been in the pubs.

well I could probably belive Carra fuming about something like that, but he certainly isn't going anywhere, and its hard for me to imagine any of the foreign players to care too much about what is going on at reserve coaching level and the academy.

Are you hell bent on "quoting" anonymous dross on this forum or have you anything constructive to add ? Read: the other "anonymous" tip off about Parry fronting a buy-out of the club...

This is the rumor mill he can come in here and say Rafa has started cross dessing if he likes who made you the boss of this place.

Apparently Goran Pandev is avaiable for 7 mil euros . Thats a great offer (the whole point is he is in conflict with the owner of Lazio and he wants to get out of there ASAP ) and the owner wants to make some money from him because next year hell go for free . So rafa needs only 6 969 000 Euros more

Rafa Benitez has been alerted to the possibility of signing Arjen Robben from Real Madrid but faces a battle with Manchester United.
The Spanish tactician has been a long time admirer of the winger and the defeat to Aston Villa on Monday night has highlighted the desperate need to add some width to the side.

The Dutch star could be available for around £18m and Benitez could well demand that owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett put their hands in their pockets and stump up some of the cash they received for Xabi Alonso in order for Benitez to strengthen the squad. Reports in Spain suggest that the former Chelsea winger is now available but Benitez is not alone in his admiration as United boss Sir Alex Ferguson also likes him and has the money to hand to buy him.

The arrival of Robben would again cast a doubt over the future of winger Ryan Babel who has failed to live up to his expectations at Anfield since his arrival from Ajax for around £11m two years ago.
