Adam certainly doesn't wanna play lower league. He wears his boro badge on his chest with pride but is smart enough to realise that a move to some club like Liverpool would or should I say could send him to new heights as a player. Playing champion league footie, having a decent cup run in the FA cup, challanging for a league title - these are all appealing to Adam and he'd jump at the chance. :;):

he's got 1 year left on his contract . 25 goals in 25 starts , he might leave as he's unhappy there and i hope we get him or robben , either way why should rafa play him in a different position when he's a striker , can you imagine rafa playing torres out left and torres being happy with that? Not everyone is like dirk kuyt who's willing to sacrifice their game and adopt a new position with totally new roles

I need to start checkin in on the rumour mill more often hehe. Going to be one very interesting summer isn't it? Rafa has really slowly brought us back to being sought out by some of the best players in the world and we are back to being one of the big teams in the transfer windows.

I can't wait to see how it all unfolds tbh, in the end who knows who we will sign but I think we will add 1 really really good player 1 that doesn't quite work out and 1 that does the job.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is weighing up sending David Ngog away on-loan next season.

The 19 year-old has impressed in the limited first team action he's seen this season and Benitez wants him to accelerate his development by sending him away on-loan next term.

French sources say Fulham are favourites for Ngog, though Stoke City and Birmingham are also being linked.

The thing is, I keep hearing that we'll have £30m to spend next season. I mean where do these figures come from?

What is almost certain is that Rafa is likely to buy at least 1 english player, possibly 2 so that he can fulfil his quota of homegrown players needed for the CL.

This 6+5 rule better not come into effect or seriously all english clubs will be fecked at champions league level , there are not enough top quality english players

There is no way they would apply this right away, it would be too big a hassle for a lot of the top clubs. I think eventually the rule does need to go into effect, but like Mourinho said it has to slowly come into play and maybe less than 6/5.

you reckon Platini gives a rats ar$e about English clubs? good way of knocking the 4 English clubs down a peg or two. I reckon he's pretty p1ssed off cos most years Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and the Mancs make it to at least the last 8 if not further (as in winning it!) so all French teams are suffering and Italian teams are suffering. What better way to halt the dominence of English teams ?

Darby, Spearing, Insua, Pacheco, Hammill

All of these are UEFA club trained next season.

Again, with the rules the way they are, while we still have Carra and Stevie G, we are talking about the 20th-25th best players on the list. 3 people have to be injured/suspened for ONE of them to even make the bench.

Boycott the champions league and i'm sure some clubs would do that as well if this rule comes into effect . Sponsors will start to pull out when this happens and the rule will be scrapped . There's not enough top quality domestic players in every league for clubs and the quality of football would drop .

We can't think about a boycott any more mate. If G14 was still about we would have some leverage but not any more.
