Lets go out and get Tevez. Forget Villa, costs too much, and Agueruo said he doesn't think he and El Torro work together.
A clear choice in strike partnership would be someone like Tevez who plays a more physical attacking style and can drive the ball deep into the area, either shooting the ball on his own or drawing the defense to him and opening the area for the likes of Torres and/or Gerrard. Plus, unlike Villa, Tevez is available (if Kia Joorabchian is to be believed). That and it would give SAF an absolute stroke to lose him to LFC and not be able to stop it.

Having said that, I'd take any of the 3 obviously.

Kia wants at least 30 million for him , thats why they have not signed him up . He's a good player but no way worth that amount , maybe 20 million or so at max

that. 30mil and then another god knows how many million in silly wages. He is ok but he is no where near a 30Mil player.

Some rumors today linking us with a 12Mil move for Diogo Luis Santo or something....

Also Arbeloa to Valencia for 7Mil.

I think we can get at least 10 for arbeloa , he's way too overrated by our own fans , he's a decent player nothing more . We can get better if we managed to get around 10 mill for him

Why sell Arbeloa?
We don't think he's good enough in the position?

The is the thing, we talk about selling too many players yet that's what we all seem to want.

If i remember correctly at the start of the season he was linked with a 8 million move away not sure to where , it would be a tidy profit seeing as we got him for 2 million . I find him vastly overrated by some on here , he's a decent player nothing spectucalar and we can do better with someone like glen johnsen or rafinha , and yes i think we can get at least 8 to 10 for him

I don't think Arbeloa is someone we need to be looking hard to sell, but if we get the right offer, it might be time to part ways. I would want to sell Dosenna first for whatever we can bring in. Arbeloa would have lots of value to the club because if he was 2nd choice (meaning we had a really really top class RB) he would be one of the best 2nd choice RBs out there and could also serve as cover for leftback.

Don't how true this is but's here's a rumour.

Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Spain international Raul Albiol, skysports.com understands.

The Valencia defender is rated amongst the best in La Liga, but money problems at The Mestalla could see them lose a number of their top stars.

And Albiol may be one of the first to depart with a host of clubs checking on his progress.

Real Madrid are long-term admirers of the 24-year-old, who can play in central defence or as a holding midfielder, but Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has now dispatched his scouting network to follow Albiol.

Albiol is currently contracted to Valencia for another two years and has a huge buy-out clause of nearly £50million - although reports in Spain now suggest they could be willing to do a deal at £13million.

Valencia's sporting director Fernando Gomez has admitted the club would have to consider any reasonable offers, and also confirmed they were aware of scouts from Liverpool tracking Albiol.

"Today it is necessary to study each offer that we receive and after that we would decide," he told skysports.com.

"The money situation is complicated at the club, but formally nobody has spoken with us about Abiol.

"But we are aware that the Reds have been scouting around here in recent months."

Just read that as well today , don't understand that , maybe long term replacement for carragher or hypia who's surely got another season or 2 only left in him , would be wise to 3 centre backs , but where he plays as of now is another thing , agger can barely get a game .

Could even be a replacement for agger i guess

According to the last rumours Atletico will bid as far as 7M, and Arbeloa would preffer going back to Madrid rather than Valencia.

It would be a good business provided what we paid for him, and a good signing, because he never was meant to be a top player, rather a player that filled a gap in the team and answered well.
