I misread, I thought joe was talking about national footie not club, easy enough to do considering said Deutsche doesnt play for us......

personally i think this would be a great move although i'm not sure he'd take kindly to being a number 2.

still a top keeper though imo.

Personally I don't think LFC or other clubs for that matter have paid that much attention to the Bundesliga over the years. I used to live over in DE and regularly went to Frankfurt's and Kaiserslautern's grounds to watch a game. I've watched from afar since and I think there are some great players in that league. Some would be a much better option to take a punt on than the overvalued and overhyped Premier League...

I wouldn't take Podolski, I have said before I don't rate him, yes he have a decent euro, but it doesn't mean he is a good player.

Not a type of striker we are looking for, same class as voronin.

I'll admit I don't have much of an opportunity to watch the Bundesliga and am just going on recent international tournaments, but you've been raving about Luca Toni and are now putting Podolski in the same bracket as Voronin, which strikes me as...shall we say...strange.

Haven't been able to get on here since weekend but...

My cricket team was playing against David Bentley's brother at the weekend and apparently a deal has all but been agreed with Blackburn for Bentley - Pennant + £4m - £5m cash!
