The Premiership - General Discussion

On Sunday, I watch Everton professionally beat Man City and I'll have to admit that Everton are not just about graft.

In Thomas Gravesen, they have a tough tackling creative midfielder in the same mould as Patrick Vieira, Roy Keane and Steven Gerrard, and David Moyes would be grateful that he stayed behind after all the rumblings about wanting to go to a bigger club.

But the truth cannot be denied, Everton is not a big club.

They do have a few good players and play well as a team, but as the season goes on, especially with the hectic Christmas and New Year programme, their legs will tire and results will start going against them.

At The Valley, where Charlton are pretty good, that's where it will start. The Addicks have turned things around a bit and are unbeaten in four games now.

Winger Jerome Thomas has been a revelation and his pace and trickery will be a handful for Everton's defence. It won't be a pretty game, but Charlton will just have enought to show up the Evertonians, who cannot possibly keep getting the kind of results.

They will start losing in the second half of the season.
