I think you should probably have started a whole predictions thread and put it in the general, hopefully the mods can move it :)

anyway, here's mine:

Premier League: an ambitious 3rd for me with the Mancs first and second, don't care which way around
FA Cup - Chelsea
Carling Cup - Liverpool - its a start and its been a while :D
CL - Barca
Europa - Arsenal :p

Player of the season - our Luis
Young player of the season - Hendo
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I forget...are the scum one title ahead of us now, or level?

Premier League Champs: Hate to say it, but Manure. City have started well and will continue, but they're gonna f*ck up against some random smaller teams as we've done for ages. City are fickle and their confidence will be very thin. One mess up and they'll all be hating eachother.

FA Cup: The Mighty Reds! Just a feeling. Something about Kenny Dalglish and the FA Cup.

League Cup: Spurs. Just a random guess really.

:D my apologies but we have a minimum expectations thread and a lot of that can be discussed in there. Just wanted to put more meat on the bones and it's in the Premiership general thread anyway so we can kind of gauge other teams by predicting who will win what :D

Im Surprised you think we are weaker after the transfer window.

Ngog out - Bellamy in (stronger)
Soto out - Coates in (stronger)
Konchesky out - Enrique in (stronger)
Poulson out - Adam in (stronger)
Mereiles/Aquilani out - Henderson in (ok.. maybe weaker)
Cole out - Downing in (stronger)

We look a lot stronger to me. I am confident that we can reach 3rd, but I would be very happy with 4th as with Champions League on offer I think we can look at adding another 2 players to make us look very good.

Positive thinking !!!!!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

its definitely stronger, might be lacking depth in some areas but the squad is certainly a lot more balanced

ola mr benitez i agree with your view on those that have left compared to those who have replaced them, but in saying that poulsen, soto, and konchesky were not really considered as first team players in my eyes, so anyone is better than them lol,

il correct myself, we are stronger as a whole but lack depth in some areas i think, with the centre, say stevie has a set back and adam gets injured, we will hav lucas and henderson to start,,,, spearing , shelvey on bench,,, in my eyes that is weak back up, and not ideal starters either. that centre midfield could easily be beaten. thats my fears of weakness, other than that i think were ok
