Patrick Viera's move from the gunners to Juven only cost the Italian 1500 Euro, how cheap!

It's good news for Arsenal's title rivals.  Even though Veira's powers are clearly on the wane, he's a difficult player to replace.  It reminds me of our situation with Stevie (maybe he'll change his mind!)

And Viera is reported to be very excited about his move to Juve. I wonder if he has problems with Wenger. And 15Euro is VERY cheap.. compare that with what we paid for Cisse last season and see their performances.. oh god...

the move makes perfect sense. viera gets a 5 year contract for 80k a week or something. so hes guarunteed that til hes 34. at the gooners they dont do that for past 30. and the gooners get 13 million. ok not much, but next year itd be 10, then 7 etc etc.

its a massive loss for them but wengers no numpty and will have something up his sleeve

I don't think that was a problem, Vieira has won everything at Arsenal except the CL. He will have a better chance of winning it with Juventus than at Arsenal. Juve can win it if they buy another striker, Ibrahimovic has been great for them but Del Piero and Trezeguet are not getting the job done.

It was a brilliant move for Vieira (both in football and in financial terms).

He's getting £80k a week until he's 34 at a club that is consistantly better than Arsenal in Europe.
