BOLTON EYE CHINESE GIANT

LONDON - Peter Crouch be warned. He might have found his match.

Bolton have reportedly handed trials to Chinese pair Yang Changpeng and
Zhou Liaota. The 17-year-old Yang, at 2.03m tall, is taller than Crouch.

The duo, who play for Wuhan Guanggu, are set for a three-week stint with
the Premiership club.

The trials are said to be part of an ongoing arrangement set up earlier
this year between Bolton and Wuhan, which enables both clubs to exchange
new ideas and youth players.

Giant forward Yang came over to the England in the summer for an initial
look around and he has been invited back to the Reebok Stadium with
team-mate Zhou.

Yang, who is rated one of his country's top young football talent, said:
"We always dream of this moment and the wait appears to be over. It is
very exciting.

"It will be a learning experience, but we will strive to perform to the
best of our abilities.

as i'm sure your all aware, i'm a big fan of bolton's style of play.

i'm sure this signing will see a lot of balls played to his feet through intricate triangles in the midfield.
