Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't he fill a similar role as Hleb in the Arsenal side?  They still need a strong, experienced, ball-winner in central midfield.

He'll do well in the Premiership and I'm disappointed we didn't go in for him. At 25 he's at the top of his game, has heaps of skill, scores goals, creates .............???

Along with Ballack i've often said on here we should sign him but alas he's gone to Arsenal whilst the mercenary has signed for Chelsea???

Surprised he is only 25, i thought he had been around for ages.
Would have loved to have seen him in the real red shirt

I'm sure he'll do well has bags of technique but dunno how he'll cope if it gets a little 'tasty' in games.

I championed his cause way,way back as i think he's a good player with the ability to improve us.....but we've moved on since so let's jus wait an see what he does (if he comes).

Just heard price is only £6.8million. Another bargain we've missed

I would of thought Wenger would try and find an anchorman for his midfield. So I don't know why he's gone Rosicky unless he's trying to become and all out attacking force like Barcelona.

Arsenal's defence is there problem and it comes to light more so last season with the absence of Patrick Viera. Whilst on paper Arsenal's defence looks good, you have Toure, Campbell and Cole as a unit they aren't as stong as they should be.

But I'm not complaining, lets hope Wenger blows his budget on attacking players and gets stuffed over again.   :D

Wenger is going to lose Bergkamp and Pires ,so even with Hleb he needed another flair player. I'm a bit gutted really cos I really rate Rosicki but thought he was out of our price range. I expected £12-£15million not under £7million

Pires has signed a new deal hasn't he?

I can't judge him as I haven't seen enough of him to pass comment but I'll take your word for it.

Fantastic player he has just gone a bit stale in the last year but he would really be a repalcement for fabregas and he has been linked with a transfer to real madrid.
Just think personally he is better than Aimar who everyone seems to think is coming to LFC.

Rosicky has been plagued by injuries for the past 2 seasons and had latterly become a target of stick from Dortmund fans who flet he did not carry his weight, according to what I have read in the newspapers. I haven't seen enough of him to judge if he is a soft-hearted and has been found wanting in effort but I have seen a fair bit of Zlatan of Juve who got jeers from his home fans for what they perceived as a lack of effort from him at times.

I thought Wenger would have bought a holding midfielder or at least one who would add a bit of steele in the midfield as Fabregas, wonderfully talented as he is, tends to get over-run quitr a bit by physical opponents.

He was a Houllier target and not a Rafa target. Someone has already hit the nail on the head that he is very similar to Garcia.

Another lightweight in the Gunners midfield. Hmmmm  ???

whenever i have seen rosicky play he has always been a very creative and inventive player, i for one am dissapointed that we have not tried to purchase him, as i feel he would have brought a lot to our team.

Although the transfer fee is 'undisclosed' some reports are saying 6.8 million.  Does it seem strange to anyone else that Dortmund are willing to let him go for that considering they paid 18 million for him?  It was a Bundesliga record at the time apparently.  Something doesn't quite add up with this deal.
