Yes, probably one of the most embarrassing cases of political corruption in my country.

Just when the Madrid debt had grown too much, Real Madrid saw how some of it's terrains were changed the status of the terrains allowing to construct on them, and thus, increasing the value of the terrains. This normally is up to the government of the province, and is not granted easily.

Sorry GYBS, all these things have names which I don't know to translate, but basically the debt of the club was paid by Madrid tax payers.

According to Talksh*te radio on Tuesday Tevez is going to City and it has been agreed in principal. 18m quid
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

80 million quid for one player? Throw in a carrick sale and they could buy over Newcastle.

But seriously, this is bad for us in the long run. That's a bucket load of cash they can use for transfers or re-financing.

They will buy Luis Valencia.

That looks like most of their spine needs replacing.
Rooney, Vidic, Rafael, Evra a bit dodgey.

Yeah but put this into perspective. Ronaldo was out for half the season and Tevez barely played compared to the previous season.

Man Utd still won the title. It would be naive to suggest this is the end for them.

It may be more than 18mil but they were fairly sure he's on his way to city.

I cant wait for Platini's statement on this disgracefully exorbitant transfer. It has ruined football.

When was Ronaldo out for half the season? And its a myth about Tevez he has played as many games as anyone, maybe not started them but he did.

Well, time will tell who they use the money on and whether this is a good move for the Mancs or not.  At the moment, though, all I can think of is one thing: good fucking riddance to one of the most irritating t0ssers ever to pollute Premiership pitches and television screens alike.  When Henry left for Spain I was saddened because, rival or not, he was pure class and a joy to watch.  I'll be thrilled to see the back of this ponce, though....until we knock them out of the CL that is.
