if you were Aquilani sitting on watching a game like that, itching to get on and get some much needed playing time how would you feel as Degen gets the nod to get on before you ?

Well i would hope he would be dying to get on and prove himself just like any player who sits on the bench should be and then next chance he gets he goes and shows the manager what he is made off just like he did against Burnley.
Bigger Picture ? does that not include the rest of his career as opposed to just this season where some people are saying he is the worst buy of this season by any club ?!? is that looking at the bigger picture

I actually believe Parker and Noble would of bullied him out of the game against West Ham

He has just came from a different league after recovering from a serious injury. Over a year out from football.
Rafa has bearly gave him a chance to impress. He has started 6 games for us

Perfect example of Benitez's stupidity.

well in italy the rumours are coming out that when rafa becomes juventus manager this summer alberto aquilani is his number one target. Now is that weird or what?

dont mean to sound funny mate, but as far as i am concerned the best way of getting fit is playing.
but i hope you are right.
bavlondon wrote:Yeah I know what you mean. To be honest I am struggling to come up with any other reason as to why Rafa wont play him more often now other than the possibility Rafa doesn't have enough faith in him.
Sir Roger wrote:If Rafa bought him and doesnt play him when hes fit then is Rafa not a prize idiot? People saying he is a bad signing and not suited to the PL are talking absolute bo'llocks.
