According to Physio room, David Burrows will be fit before Arbs, though i see Riise and Stig vying for the position.

Do you live on a remote Island possibly in a cave ,because for most of this season Arbeloa has been plying his trade for Madrid ...unless he's just working on the side   :oh:

I am pretty sure he meant Aurelio :D  Give the lad a break, I get Reina and Riera mixed up all the time, luckily Reina is a pretty good passer and Riera is not bad between the sticks   :D

Spanish Liga interest for Liverpool fullback Insua  13.04.10

Liverpool fullback Emiliano Insua is being linked with a move to Spain.
The News of the World says Argie left-back Insua could be off to Spain for £5million.
Despite a breakthrough campaign, the Merseysiders' are considering offloading Insua because he can't be guaranteed regular first-team football next season.
He is attracting interest from Spain and Liverpool could easily raise funds.
The 21-year-old is looking to force his way into Argentina's World Cup squad after establishing himself in Rafa Benitez's side this season.

Id hang onto him. He isn't yet good enough for a starter position but he would be good as backup or used in rotation. How are we ever meant to build strength in depth if we keep selling players?

I agree, true selling him would raise some funds.  But in an ideal situation (which I know we are not in)  we would by a better starting LB and keep Insua for cover.  Insua is young and at a top club.  I don't think he should be assured of first team action.

I don't think he's a lost cause as has been stated around here lately.  He's still developing and like to see him get the chance to do so at LFC.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I feel a bit sorry for him to be honest, he is still very young and has played way to many games this season rather than being introduced gradually, not convinced he will end up being a first choice left back but may be a good squad player if we let Aurelio go and sign a 1st choice left back. Did'nt cost the earth and although having a hard time in a nuber of games has also had some good performaces.
