I hate the fact that when you go into this thread the page is blank then you have to go back to the previous page.

Lucas:- Thats the worst Brazillian since David Blunkett shaved his wifes fanny.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

RAFA BENITEZ WILL NEVER DROP LUCAS.

And I've a theory why...

Rafa's management style is based on Prozone. He goes home, checks the stats (isn't that what he said about Aqua after his first game? "His 'stats' were good"?) and sees that Lucas covered the most ground and had the highest successful pass completion rate.

The problem is that if he used his eyes he could see that Lucas ground coverage consists of the edge of our box to the centre circle and his passes are either five yards square or five yards back.

It's just a theory.

Cue Lando...
AND HERE COMES AVI COHEN!! OH I SAY - AT THE SAME END HE'S GOT ONE BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Rafa too would have loved that silky smooth genius that was David Batty

He had the highest pass competion rate of 91% in mid 1990's... 5 yard sideways and backward nothing passes.

:Oo: Nicely timed, only the second time Lucas hasn't started in the Premiership and you say that!  :D

Still it did make a change when he didn't take Riera off first, I reckon he dropped Lucas to 'prove' you wrong and took Aquilani off first because I asked what odds Riera would be off first  :D
