Just watched a preview of the upcoming films this year. There's some very interesting ones, I must say. It'll be a brilliant year for film if you're into the sci-fi/fantasy genre. There's so many decent looking ones to come.

RBG mentioned George Clooney and "The Men who stare at Goats", I'm waiting to catch that one myself, in the meantime I watched "Up in the Air" last night. Clooney was his usual dapper self but the film is totally forgetable, just a bit of froth.

Watched Four brothers on Film Four last night . Top film that. Very enjoyable indeed and Marky mark is turning out to be a very good actor .

I agree there, Daws. Inception does look very promising. Directed by Chris Nolan too, and DiCaprio has molded himself to be a fairly decent actor these days.

Not all on that list are to my taste, though. They are just the picks of the sci-fi/fantasy shows to come. Shame Battle Angel won't be out for at least 2011.

but look at the tucker and Dale vs evil, see if tis a real film or some wind up

Just watched that Tucker Vs Evil thing. Not sure but I think it is for real. You know how American humour is. Looks to me like a bunch of college students got stoned one night and came up with an idea for a comedy a bit like my mate explained his idea for one years ago. I just shook my head and said "na, that sounds sh*te." That sort of thing. Something similar.

2010 should be a good year for movies tho. Predators should rock it, and the expendables will be a fun ride
