So can we find someone in keeping with the credibility issue thank you (You know someone who maybe did allow our Midfield to be totally usurped by the unrivalled power of Reading ) and maybe not Lucas who in principal did adhere to the one precept we hold dear at Liverpool ,correct me if I am wrong but I thought it was 100% application ,albeit with limited ability but nonetheless 100%

Seriously lar,
I agree with your literary pearl kidda that Lucas has being displaying a good attitude of application. But lid, you know aswell as I do (or I hope you do) that Lucas will always be a controversial and focal point in our side. Considering we've had an array of talent in central midfield for almost a decade now, going back to the likes of Hamman, McAllister and even Murphy who I think is a better player. Then not to mention the likes of Mascharano, Sissoko, Gerrard and Alonso.
Lucas will never be anything other than what he currently is IMHO, a mediocre run of the meal midfielder with limited ability. Its a simialr story to Kuyt really, another one with 110% application but who is constantly found wanting in the attribute department.
And seen as this is the 'Lucas' thread kidda you will always get those (myself included) who are fed-up with the constant inclusions of players who don't have that extra special bit of something to their game.
Its because of players like Kuyt, Lucas, Aurelio etc that we're often branded a two man team. Because if neither Torres nor Gerrard are playing well nobody else is able to step up and take responsibility when its needed.

No worries lash
Don't get me wrong I appreciate the effort players like Lucas and Kuyt go to. But thats as far as it goes, however and of course if I were ever at Anfield again matchday. I'd cheer them on no end, but seen as we're on VIVA NEWKITT INTERNET CREW! I'd prefer to give an honest opinion.

Everyones opinion is honest mate , just different . If we had a team of say 6 or7 trully world class players , Lucas would fit in nicely in my opinion .You know the type , the unoticed hard graffter . Cos we only have Torres and Gerrard who are trully world class , his limitiations are more profound .
