The guy is quality though.. His passing and confidence on the ball are unquestionable... I think we'll see a much improved Aquilani in the next few games if Rafa sticks by him and doesnt revert back to playing Lucas-Mascherano in the middle... He's still getting acquainted with the formation we play and im not sure he fully understands his role in the side (who does ?!) ... Hes going to need to step it up in the next few games but the manager will help him out quite a bit i feel and imo dropping him couldnt possibly make things any easier or better for him...

He didnt look lazy to me
Full of running and wanting the ball
Pressing forward and look to play people in.
He looks good to me

He's fully fit for a lower priority cup competition (as compared to top 4) and yet he is on the bench. I think he's a goner.

Have defended him so far but one thing is for sure he isn't going to save our season.
Whether time will allow him to settle who knows but at the moment he looks a waste of £20 million, money we cannot afford to just throw away.

Agreed mate.

Has a few nice touches and looks to have a decent range of passing, but I think it's fair to say he probably doesn't like a tackle. That's my early impression of him anyway.

F*ck sake, he's started only two games and you lot are spouting he's a waste of 20 million already? Catch a grip. It's interesting how some of you lot seem reluctant to critsis our captain, and rather stick the boot into the new boy. If anything, stick the boot into Rafa for not playing him as often as he should. The lad needs games FFS.

I trust rafa in picking the players especially if he is like wait for him =) ... I just hope that he doesnt let rafa down coz his performance is so weak i know he just came back from injury but he had lots of miss passed and its a bad indicator =S ... but in rafa we trust
