come on guys, lets not attack each other. We are all off with today's result and the season in general. Its not going well, but thats life.

Our goal now is a top 4 finish and at least we've got one quality player coming in. Juding Aqulani after 3 games isn't fair. For sure Rafa is to blame for signing an injured player, but its not the player's fault.

It has to be said that he has not impressed me very much since he started playing - but to be fair he is playing in a struggling team at the moment.
The players around him are lacking confidence and that is bound to have an effect.
But maybe we should expect more for £ 20 million ...........

I wouldn't deem him a failure because I'd probably have to see him in 20+ league games before I could make any firm conclusions (though there are players sh!t enough to warrant much earlier calls, as we know). Surely you have to ask questions though.

I would ask the question about why he was put against two championship sides knowing how lesser teams play when he is clearly a ball player and a creative player and not a crunching ball winning give as good as you get player?

Aquilani played really well 2night. I thought he was our best player by a long way. Made loads of great long passes in the 2nd half and was Alonso esc for us. When along side Mascherano, who can actually defend, then he'l be a massive threat and asset.

With Lucas who cant defend it brough Aquilani into question defensively.

He has to acquaint himself with the English game at some point. What better game(s) than Reading, a team we should well be expected to beat? He got more time and space tonight than he'll get against most Prem oposition.

I disagree.
Championship teams like Wolves and Reading play rough and tumble and are very physical. Thats the nature of that league. Some sides in the Prem actually let you play football. Thats where he could get acquainted
