DEBRECEN VS LIVERPOOL - Time to do a "bermenstein"

Liverpool Football Club - Games

I dont think we can carry on this awful form for much longer.. but if we did we wouldnt stand a chance of winning Europa.

I believe Rafa is a good manager and i still stand by him all the time but its just these little things that he does that are gradually doubt him a little more every now and again. I mean we have played Lucas and Mascherano in midfield for the season and it has shown terrible results. If I was him I would force myself to bring Aquilani on even if there is that risk. Desperate times, desperate measures.

And bringing Dossena on?? What in gods name is the point.. we all know he doesnt want to play for us and that he is going to be offloaded.

Two holding midfielders against Debrecen and our more adventureous players on the bench. We won but the manner we did it in was enough to make you doze off. Its like watching someone die when you just want it to end and move on. Lord help us  :no

The sad part is Debrecen were there for the taking. They were absolutely dire.

HAVE WE GONE BACKWARDS?

Where you embaressed when you watched it paraded round in 2001 - i most certainly wasnt .

Yeah but it had another couple of cups for company that year mate

And it could still have the FA Cup for company this season as well as a CL  spot .
Im going to take a win as a positive tonight - yes it was a sh.it win but its a win at the end of the day .

No of course not. But we won the CL in 2005 (feels a long time ago now, four years precisely). After "Rafa putting us on the map in Europe" we now are playing with the also rans in UEFA.

You don't get a cup for QUALIFYING mate, or maybe we wouldn't be as frustrated as we are.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard: "The disappointing thing was having to rely on other people. We have played well today but now we have to try and move on, build on tonight and, with a lot of players coming back from injury, try and win the Europa League. Of course its disappointing. The Champions League is the main trophy at the start of the season but the only consolation now is to try and win the Europa League."

Eh, whatever I guess.  Like Carra said Liverpool will go on and I'll still be supporting so :censored: it.  The CL and League are gone pretty much but we need some fecking silverware though hopefully we can win the damn FA Cup.

I know you dont get a cup for qualifying but you do for winning the FA Cup .

i dont mind we're out from the champ league...win is a win but at least we showed good games, improvement, determination and character....not a game like this....awful...not showing our determination to progress for the nxt round regardless the other game result...really upset:(
