Latest transfer rumor

Liverpool Football Club - The Rumour Mill

The latest rumour is that we have replaced a total of 27 members of staff and that quite a few of them are suing for unfair dismissal and the club has had to take steps to cover that eventuality. We have also had to pay off a number of contracts and the people replacing them have had in some cases to receive signing on bonuses which again have come out of the budget.

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

we dont need quantity tho.

The squad is thin but only in terms of quality. Baptista isn't quality, he's also lazy. It would be like a bigger version of Babel in terms of laziness. Awful at Arsenal, awful at Roma

To be honest I would probably have more faith in seeing him come on for us as oppose to Voronin.

Itandje set to leave Liverpool for Greece
by Anfield Online | Sunday, August 30th, 2009

Charles Itandje, Liverpool’s French keeper, looks set to head out of Anfield to join Greek side AO Kavala after passing a medical.

The player found himself in hot water with the fans and the club after his antics during the 20th Hillsborough Anniversary Service at Anfield in April this year.

He was told within weeks of the incident that his future lay outside of Anfield.

Some media outlets are reporting the deal with Kavala to be a permanent one, but the French media are reporting that the player will go on a season long loan with an option to purchase the player at a reduced valuation if the loan spell is a success.

Several deals for the player have fallen through over the course of the summer for the player.

Itandje played 7 times for Liverpool since his arrival in 2007

Ah the old "take him for a year and we'll pay half his wages, then you can have him for feck all" routine. I think the highest ranking he ever reached amongst our goalies was about sixth of nine.

Looking on the bright side at least clearing him out will mean there's room for us to sign a 17 year old Ukranian kid who's won the "Golden Mittens" in the Kiev (Eastern side) Intermediate conference for the last two seasons.
"se e in una bottigla ed e bianco, e latte".
