I know it's all opinions and all that, and each person is entitled to theirs, but do you really think this mate? Honestly?
Listen I'm one of the people who bangs on all the time about getting local talent, at least English or British talent and giving them a shot, but do you honestly think Spearing would have got a game for Brazil or been crowned the player of the year in the Brazillian league?
To be honest BigM ,Yes i do.

aCe' alright Albert... would he make the bench at ManUtd, Chelsea, Arsenal, or even ManCity ?!

The defence rests
Comparing Lucas to Mikel, Fletcher and Diaby ?
You must be out of your mind fella... out of the 3 you posted above, Mikel is probably the weakest link... even then, hes a much better player than Lucas imo will ever be, and hes shown it by being consistently solid for Chelsea whenever played... Like Lucas and Ballack, i dont think hes played in the role he favours in the teams' setup, but still hes a decent footballer although his 15mill price tag isnt by any means justifiable..
Lets be reasonable for a minute... Fletcher is a good player, not outstanding but hes miles ahead of Lucas... links up play very well and is very composed on the ball... defensively hes not bad at all.. Diaby has the potential to become a big player for Arsenal.. has excellent physical presence in the middle, good technical ability and drive, and can score goals...
Lucas is yet to prove he can even be solid ... much as we'd all like to make him out to be something hes not, we need to realize that hes some way from becoming a good enough player at this level... we'll see in the next few games how he does if hes played in the current setup.. for now, all i can hope for is that Lucas' presence in our starting 11 doesnt cost us points...
Lucas p!sses all over them three mate , you could have picked three better . Lucas is growing into his midfield role now ,you will see a different player this season .
Plain and simple.........Lucas is
!...why all of a sudden are these people with short memories trying to "play up (useless) Lucas"?.......just because he had a half decent game...against a less than half decent side (stoke) all of a sudden he has become "St Lucas"
....well he dont cut the mustard with me....or with many other LFC fans either...lets see St Lucas play as well in the forthcoming games against better opposition ie...villa, chelsea...or will he be overun again and disapear up his own Ars@hole...just like he did at Totenham.
