Id hate to see him leave but we would be in serious trouble if he did. I could see other players following him out the door.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Well if thats the case rafa will get on with his job still , he won't leave us yet , maybe after this season if he's not given funds again . TBH i can't blame him and if that happens , we'd be seriously :censored:

Absolute nightmare summer this has turned out to be ... Rafa was promised £20m for transfers this summer without selling anyone!  He sells players and rakes in about £38m Spends about £30m with what Portsmouth still owed us for Crouch and we end up with 1.5m left to spend?

Them Fecking American halfwits better start doing something for this club ASAP or get the hell out ... The fans are starting to lose patience on this whole fiasco.

That article in the telegraph is saying similar to what my mate heard that i posted in the centre half thread.
Me mate heard on fri or sat that we have around 1 million to spend and due to this are after loan players if possible.

Lets hope its all bllcks but seeing as though the season has now started and there is no sign of any other players, it doesnt look very promising now does it ?

always try and look for the positives. If we get Garay on loan I think he would be great.  Takes a mean free kick, especially for a centre half.  Sadly, he is only my 2nd favorite footballer named Ezequiel, so thats not a good sign :D

Duff joins Fulham from Newcastle

Duff joined Newcastle from Chelsea for £5m in 2006
Fulham have completed the signing of Newcastle's Republic of Ireland winger Damien Duff for an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old made his name at Blackburn, where he played under current Fulham boss Roy Hodgson, before moving to Chelsea for £17m in 2003.

Duff then moved to Newcastle in the summer of 2006 for £5m.

"I am delighted to add a player of his calibre to our squad and welcome the further midfield options he provides us with," Hodgson told Fulham's website.

"I have known Damien for over a decade since he broke into the first team at Blackburn when I was manager, so I'm fully aware of his qualities and I am looking forward to working with him again."

Duff added: "I know that having spoken to the manager in recent days that the club's ambitions remain high and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead."

He scored an own goal at Aston Villa on the final day of last season as Newcastle were relegated from the Premier League after losing 1-0.

Just remain optimistic and patient. None of the papers have a clue what's going on in the transfer this season. For all we know he could be lining someone up. The papers no :censored: all! So let's just wait and remain optimistic and hope for the best.  :;):
