thats awesome. we could expand the market in Japan and make a tidy profit via jerseys. but at the end of the day, he's gotta be a good player of course.

Yeah our goalscoring record was terrible after Keane left  :Oo:

Yeah totally agree if we kept Keane we would of won the league

:p

Hey we where top of the league when Keane was playing for us ... Then when he left came the stupid 0-0 draws that eventually tallied up and cost us the league.

Mate, that was one game....apparently he has a knack of losing the head as well on big occasions i.e. going AWOL and coming out for balls he hasn't a hope of reaching......
Haven't seen enough meself, but I read it on his bio somewhere...

I see Nico Krajcar has stated that he will leave Pompey next summer. He would be a class signing, has EPL experience, offers some width, can score and goal and is only 24 years old. With one year to go he may come a lot cheaper than someone like Silva (who I have slight reservations against given his size).

Also looking like Phil Brown is ready to admit that Turner's future may lie elsewhere. I would welcome this lad to Anfield. Been an outstanding servant to Hull and is a strong CB in the JC mould. If the price is right then absolutely sign him up.

I think Turner would be a decent signing, but what would we be looking at 8million? He's 25, English, performed well(ish) last season and 1 year lef ton his contract I think..

He's 6 foot 4, quite quick and seems a solid professional that will relish being at a club as big as ours and will work hard with Carra to become an international.

Would be a decent signing in my opinion.. not sure how versatile he is tho. Any ideas?

Turner and Krankjar would be good signings in my opinion. They would definitely back up our subs which is pretty much needed.  :D

The only way we will sign turner for 6 million is if he hands in a transfer request

Niko Kranjcar has no intention of signing a new contract at Portsmouth and will leave the club next summer.

The Croatia international joined Pompey from Hajduk Split in 2006 and has become a firm fans' favourite at Fratton Park.

Blessed with outstanding natural ability, the 24-year-old has quickly become one of the Premier League's top talents.

The speed in which has was initially able to adapt to the English game has made him a target for some of Europe's top clubs in the past, with a big-money move often touted.

He has remained loyal to Portsmouth throughout the speculation, but has now made it clear that his time on the South Coast is coming to a close.

With financial troubles currently hindering Pompey's plans for the future, Kranjcar feels he needs to move on in order to fulfil his own lofty ambitions.

"For now I am staying, but we have not strengthened like I would have liked us to," he said.

"That's why I will not sign a new contract. It's one more season for me and then I'm off."

Worth a cheeky offer while they're skint ?

Wasn't rafa interested in him 2 seasons back or so , he's got talent not good enough to be world class but can become a top top player and still only 24. Pompey fans must be really hating this torrid summer
