Liverpool KAIGELS wrote:Haha Ace , if we had bought anderson for 16mp and only scored one goal while lucas had signed for mans for 8mp , u'd be here shagging rafa on how was the money wasted . Lucas has the same potential on how anderson is going to be a sucess , u cant just write off lucas .

"Safe to say, if we had Anderson in our side today rather than Lucas, many more people would have been more comfortable with the idea of using the Alonso money to strengthen other areas of the squad rather than brining in a big name replacement for Alonso.."

Safe to say , u'd still be slagging anderson and asking for a new replacement :)

i wouldnt have wanted us signing Anderson for 18 mill, so in that sense you're right...

Lucas at 6 mill however is a waste of money... if you dont think so then fair enough... the 'potential' you talk about i just cant see.. must be deep deep within because at 23 you'd expect some of whats to come from the guy to start showing.. but we'll wait and see.. maybe one day when hes 27 he'll wake up and all the 'potential' will be realized you never know.. we'll wait and see i guess

how many goals has he scored again?

he hardly creates either. i very much doubt he could have played that pass through to gerrard against newcastle that lucas did.

Anderson is an absolute tw@t of an 'orrible f*ckin c*nt. I despise the thing. His face...his sneering f*ckin' 'look at me will yer' s.hitty snidey manc face.

Not bad on the ball tho

you were right the first time mate, an abolute tw@t an a f*ckin c*unt, manc f*ck face who is only good at holding his own balls!  :grinning:  as much as i don't rate Lucas, i'd rather have him in the sqaud any day than a f*cker like  Anderson.

:Oo:

any reason for all this or just bitter for the sake of it ?

please mate don't call me a 'bitter'   :p ,no  i'm not that atall!

i just don't see the opinion that Anderson is better than Lucas in his ability, ball possesion, creatavity, goal scoring etc, that's how much he i rate him. to sum it up for me one is a useless f*cking waster of a pass, gets in the way of anything creative an with the wrong attiude, who takes his place in the squad like it means no more than a weekly wage package.

the other is a f*cking manc tw@t,with far less talent with the one above, end of. if that's bitter so be it mate.

Well that cleared up absolutely nothing mate  :D
but no biggie .. my point wasnt as much about his ability as much as it was about you and Red deciding to use all that abusive language you did towards a player who -as far as i know- did nothing to disrespect liverpool...

we move on... to me Anderson has shown he has the 'quality' to become a big player for a big side... Lucas quite simply hasnt..

to become a big player for a big side.... f*cking love it mate ! well done mate, cause Anderson is neither. well done for finally clearing that one up. me an red can move on now that is clarified.  :D

as far as abusive language goes mate,as far as i'm concerned they will never have enough abusive lanuage thrown towards them in my living days, player or non player end of.

he has for me disrespect everything i stand for by wearing a manc shirt. if that isn't enough for you to know,i don't know what is.

no argument involved mate,if you don't our history - please study it now.

i'm entitled to my opinion about LFC players, of which i Love everything about, some players in my opinion just aren't good enough, but i tell you what- i would Never, ever swap any of them for a f*ucking manc player,or anyone conected with them end of.

for me No f*cking manc playe will be ever good enough to play for us-you know why ? cause as far as i'm concerned aern't worthy to wear the famous red shirt! end of.

its not even a contest, Anderson has shown plenty of promise for the Mancs, Lucas is just plain awful

He also wants to stay and replace Xabi:

This is Anfield

Just because it says "told the Sun" doesn't mean he actually sat down and talked to them. if he had they'd use more than 2 quotes. It's more likely he's spoken to a press conference or a foreign media outlet and The scummy sun have pinched it from there.

It would be madness to sell him to recoup a few million quid when we have just lost Alonso and have no idea how Aquilani will perform.

It has to be make or break season for Lucas, if he can't make more of an impact (this season) and get a run of games then when will he?
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

If we sell him and use the money to bring in someone with more experience i dont see how that would be madness !

Id take Scott Parker (for example) ahead of him every day of the week and i wouldnt think there would be a big difference between the valuations of both players so money isnt really an issue here...

why would it be madness? Lucas has proven time and time again how much of a liability he is, we will lose nothing by selling him and he could be easily be replaced without spending to much money on a replacement. Also if Aquilani isnt any better than Lucas at £20m then were in serious trouble.
