Yes im sure all those people that constantly slag of our own players will carry on enjoying it this season .And yes that slagging off ie c.rap etc as opposed to constructive anaylsis and critisism .

if some our players are rubbish, then people have the right to say they are, unlike you deluding yourself that Lucas is a good player, its laughable.

yes becuase its wonderfull and very insightful to see someone to come on and say - He is cr.ap . only ace has actually managed to construct it into a footballing sense as opposed to just saying -"he is cr.ap" - and trust me there is nothing deluded in backing a liverpool player who in his time has produced some good performances for us and been proven to not have a negative effect on our results.

so because he has had a handul of good games, and hasnt had a negative effect he deserves backing? how about the fact that he barely contributes anything to the team? or is it ok for you that he just blends in and hangs on for the ride while the rest of his team mates cover him.

team mates cover for him- now people are just making up stuff - where is the evidence of any of that ?!? you cant have passengers in the prem and still win games - esp against man utd etc as well as playing a crucial role in the game against newcastle - blackburn and a few others .

he deserves backing cause he is a liverpool player and liverpool fans down the years have backed the players through thick and thin .

what do people expect from him ? he isnt gerrard nor xabi nor masher nor is he a 20 million pound midfeilder - he is young and still got time to develop but i expect people are judging him against gerrard etc and that is wrong and harsh .

A letdown ? to some maybe ? depends what you were expecting really - i wasnt expecting him to turn into a wonderful player overnight nor hit the ground running and was expecting some time for him to develop and carry on improving - for me he has improved since he first arrived and can see him improving further giving time and experience .

show me where exactly when he was carried then ?

show me the games when won when he started (which was all bar two i think) when he was carried .

did we struggle last season ? he played well over 20 odd games so we must of struggled

where exactly did i say great attributes ? making stuff up again ?

if lucas stays an plays this season i think hell be average at best an well see if he does stay, if he turns out great then ill admit i was wrong to judge him too soon but for me he wil have to show better signs that he is a good player this season cos he will be 23 end of next season

But Liverpool fans have always criticised ANY player in the pubs after the match over a pint.
Forums are a place to have these discussions too.

Now - GYBS - If you rate Lucas so much; are you happy with him being a regular starter this season

he was carried in practically every game he palyed, he's a poor player who dosnt deserve to play for Liverpool FC, if your happy with players who produce a decent performance about once every ten games then thats your problem. So do you want him to replace Xabi then, seeing as he was so good in over 20 games last year and the team did so well with him in there.

im sorry but please show me where i rate him so highly ? and have stated where i want him to be back up - NO I DONT THINK PRESENTLY HE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO BE A CONSTANT STARTER BUT IS A GOOD BACK UP AND HAS POTENTIAL TO BECOME BETTER - now hopefully that is clear to people instead of trying to imply im rating him a world star .
