Everton face local competition for Standard Liege midfielder Steven Defour.
The Mirror says the youngster is on Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez's radar as a replacement for Xabi Alonso.
Everton offered £12 million for Defour last week.

This kid is quality and Rafa should sign him up, it would be even sweeter to beat Everton to him!

Wouldn't be cheap but agree that he would add a lot of quality to our squad/team. He can play on either flank as well as a 2nd striker.
We'd be looking at having to pay min £20m for him though
