Cambiasso , has got 20 goals in 153 games for inter , xabi has 15 in 143 , which is around the same goal ratio . I'm not sure of their assists ratio , but he's a fantastic player , didn't work out for him at real and i honstly still can't bliv he's 28 . As for the Om winger , he looks like a neat , tidy player . He has a fair bit of pace , very good footwork but whether he can make it in the premier league is another mystery.

I've read that fulham are going for marcus berg and he's valued around 5 to 7 million , he could be worth a punt for us at that price as a second striker. As for Joe suggesting a young midfielder , i'd look at taking ever banega on loan from valencia , he was loaned to ath madrid last season . Before he signed for valencia , he was brilliant and highly rated , if anything he seems to have gone backwards , but i think he can do a good job as cover here for a season and than we should have first option to purchase him if we feel he has done well

Not a rumour but I think we will sign either Villa, Silva or Tevez duno which 1 or maybe 2

but we will deffo sign one of these 3 players.

Anyone seen the odds on us to sign Ribery . We where 66/1 this afternoon and now we are 8/13 on skybet .

Jermaine Pennant is on the verge of completing a move to "an unnamed Spanish club", according to a report from Sky Sports News, after his contract with Liverpool expired at the end of last season.

The winger spent the latter half of the season on loan at Portsmouth, after finding it hard to hold down a place in manager Rafa Benitez's Reds starting line-up.

Although he helped Portsmouth stay in the Premier League, no move for a permanent move for the winger has been forthcoming from Pompey, a club around which there is considerable uncertainty, as they continue to be the subject of an, as yet, incomplete purchase by Dubai-born billionaire Sulaiman Al Fahim.

Pennant was also recently linked with a move across Merseyside to Liverpool's city rivals Everton, but it seems now that he will be appearing in the Primera Division when the new campaign begins.
